i did have full schedule preseasons matches in my nhl.tv planed on october, but today it is all clear and there is no match all clear.

Seems like no preseason games once again with them taking a step backwards since launching that "new and improved NHL.TV app".

Though, I did have an e-mail telling me that they'll charge me on October 6th, to renew my subscription, right at the end of the preseason.....

Will the iOS NHL app have audio/radio options this year? My iPad app updated and i don’t see the audio feature anymore.
Seems like I also lost monthly schedule view.

The android tv app never worked for me. It would just shut down upon startup.

I watched the entire season on laptop - > TV using HDMI.

sn has carried both exb games in Aus . They have a decent handful of exb games showing up as being on tap (nyi-nyr on 26th for example)

I found the digital ads to be a little more subtle during play but we'll see if thats the case today during the leafs-sens game

Last year was utter garbage, not renewing this year. They need to fix the quality of their feeds/streams to begin with.

The android app, well, let's just say no, not even close to good enough.

Subscribing to NHL.tv is literally the worst option out there. Even considering legal or not. (Probably gangsters running the app anyway, they are criminally incompetent at least. )

Just found the answer after talking to them. Yeah it does, but only if you sign up thru the super sports pak, which is almost the same price. Funny thing is that when signing up for Centre Ice thru Shaw in Canada and ON THEIR SITE, the sports pak isn't even available on the screen to select.

They said that since I signed up for CI yesterday, they couldn't cancel CI and reorder thru that pak. That is BS because they did exactly that when there was an issue activating CI last year. They had me resubscribe and then they cancelled my initial one. They even admitted the super sports pak was new to shaw this year. (I get there can be bugs, but they refuse to own them)

This is where it gets crazy...When trying to watch the EDM and WPG game that they themselves said was available to watch since it showed on my guide, I had a error message pop up on that channel that said I need to subscribe to CI to get that channel. I read that one out to support guy each time I tried that channel again and he had me read the message. About an hour later of still dealing with them, my error message on my tv screen changed to me needing to subscribe to that super sports pak to watch that channel. They literally changed the message to try to suggest I should have seen that I needed that pak to get certain preseason games that show up on my guide. I told them I caught them literally changing it in front of my eyes and they didn't care.

Shaw and Rogers became one here in Canada this past year. I am a shaw customer and their webpage clearly shows it is a rogers-based website with a small mention of shaw on it. They admitted it was new for shaw customers and basically admitted it didn't even show up for me when ordering it.

If they screw up, they should own it. They changed their shit up in front of my face and basically said it sucks to be me. This is my last year with both Centre Ice and even less than that with shaw. Just a pathetic look for them. THEY screwed up and are only willing to have me also sign up for that super sports pak too, so literally paying double. They are totally fine with that suggestion.

Absolutely CI was always included as a free preview for years on Shaw including last year except for the last week of the preseason for whatever reason. I'm thinking the one week preview won't be offered now that everything is switched over to Rogers.

Phone in the subscription, vs online, then Bell would send the “hit” to enable subscription while on the phone, vs waiting for them to enable it.

Where in Northern Ontario? I am in Thunder Bay we are part of both the Jets(7 hour drive) and Leafs(15 hour) region. I am guessing anything West of Sault Ste. Marie(hwy 17) and Hearst(hwy 11) would be considered Jets and Leafs Region

I think we also get Senator games but I don't remember those being blacked out for me(When My Islanders play the Jets or Leafs I have to watch it on TSN)

Went to the NHL.TV app on Apple TV today and after redoing all my settings, was informed "this app is no longer available." It's still in the app store, but when you download it... same thing. So that sucks.

So then I went to NHL.com to see if my login still works there. Also asked for an email. So I tried what I guessed was the right email. Seemed to work, but where they used to have the "account menu" is now just a sign-in/sign-out button with no actual menu. And all my old account settings are gone.

The Netherlands had ESPN Player for the last two seasons, but that service has been discontinued in our country. The Netherlands have now been added to the list of NHL.tv countries, but it is as yet not possible to subscribe. The NHL cannot tell me when that wil be opened up or wether that will be resolved in time for the start of the (pre)season.

That’s unfortunate, maybe I’m in the minority but liked the ESPN player myself and thought that it worked well after a few early bugs.
I’ve subscribed every season except 2015-16 but might wait and see this time.
