Anyone having stream quality issues with the bruins game? It's stuck in 540p for me. Def not my internet

I'm having trouble with the Oilers and Calgary games, on three different devices, otherwise my internet seems fine. Restarted my router three times and no trouble with the provider.

What is this new ESPN+ Power Play? Do we now get our local team's away games real time or is it the usual away game replay two days later?

Interesting occurrence for me last night with NHL.tv: the Wild @ Kings game (ESPN+ stream was the only option) was totally blurry, lowest-resolution-you-can-imagine, and buffering like hell on my Windows (TV) PC, even after restarting it (and the browser) repeatedly (other games played simultaneously were a lot better on the same PC!), while the picture from the same Wild @ Kings game was totally sharp & smooth in the NHL.tv iPad app, wirelessly streamed via AirPlay to the same TV set. It's usually the other way around for me (wired Windows PC better than wireless iPad). :skeptic:

If anyone knows I would be very grateful. how to choose which broadcast to watch (home or away) in the web browser when you want to watch a replay? I'm trying to watch NYR vs NYI and the only available broadcast is the Rangers one

Are you talking about the NHL.tv app/website? If so, it's really chaotic there, and if you start a replay from the home screen, there is no option to select a broadcast. Not before you launch the replay, and not afterwards, either. (One of many deficiencies of the app/service, especially the missing "Watch game from the start" option, without spoilers, if the game is already in progress and not yet completed.)

However, in the iPad NHL.tv app, and in the browser on the web, too, if you first go to the Schedule screen (instead of the home screen), and then navigate to the replay you want and tap/click on it, it will give you the option to select the broadcast. (It gives me both the Rangers and the Islanders feed for the game you want.)

Thanks, I did as you said and it works.

I know it costs a little more to do Center Ice w/Directv, but I always preferred it. If I can't get it this year, I'll be disappointed because I watch multiple games simultaneously and don't want to purchase multiple streaming boxes, I already have four Directv boxes in my basement.
I have center ice . Have had it every year since it inception.
The best !

Does anyone else's game lag terribly if its streamed from ESPN+?

I got the games on cable in canada and if its from ESPN+ the lag makes the game unwatchable.

Is there a reason NHL center ice keeps incorrectly blacking out games. I live in North Carolina, why the hell would the devils and coyotes game be blacked out?
Aaand another blackout. Vancouver at Boston is being blacked out an NHL CI, apparently because ESPN+ is forcing the blackout?

It's not listed as an exclusive ESPN+ game so that makes no sense...

Just an fyi for those clinging on. Android TV NHL.tv app has been added to Google play store - seems to work for most part. Some games really blurry like on PC, so it seems there are still some issues with certain streams.

You might be looking at the wrong channel for the game, if it’s a national night game vs regional night.
Regional night game would be on CI, national night game could be on another channel.
Sounds like you needed to watch on ESPN+.

Can't seem to find it, Nvidia Shield and it says "nhl.tv is not available on this device"? Anyone that has any idea of what might be wrong?

I don't understand, yes, that is the link to the app in play store. Still not available nor possible to install on my Nvidia Shield for some reason. Anyone else with an Nvidia Shield that has managed to get it installed?
Yes, I did and it works for me. Downloaded it straight from the UK play store. Are you based in one of the countries that NHL.tv supplies? It's geolocked on the playstore - you can't download if you're in Canada/USA.

Possibly your in wrong country. Not available in NA.

What version is the Android TV app? 1.2 from Oct. 21?

Google has my old location still so I can't download from the app store, even though I downloaded it onto my phone with no issues. Hopefully it can be sideloaded.

I have NHLTV installed on my Shield Pro. Had to re-enter my user and password info a few times day to day, but it's working fine now.

Why are ads on steaming services so limited? If I see that ESPNW ad again I might break something. With as big a network has ESPN and the whole Disney umbrella, I would think they would have more variety. It’s the same complaint every year. I remember when I started subscribing to the package they would play the local ads. I wish they would go back to that or just show nothing (unlikely).
