RyJo actually pretty good at face offs. 59% last year. Better than anyone on the Bruins. If we look at him like depth he could make the Bruins harder to play against

I’m fine with standing pat of making very minor moves along the margins.

This year is gravy.

They withstood the ship teetering last week and have stabilized.

You’re playing with house money at this point. No need to do anything reckless.

See what happens and you’ll have a crack at wheeling and dealing at the draft and in free agency this summer.

That pld contract is HARSH

He’s not exactly the type of guy I wanna gamble on when he’s gotta all that money left on his contract.

any real smoke from these Ullmark rumors, or are they just guesses?

And it's great to see you on the boards today, thanks for coming by!!! :)
I don't know. I can only tell you what I have personally heard and not try to dwell too much on what others are reporting because I don't know.

That said, I can't for the life of me see them trading Ullmark without an extension to Swayman in their back pocket.

Can you imagine trading Ullmark now and Swayman forcing his way out of town in the summer and the Bruins left with no goaltending?

For those casually reading, the PLD stuff I dont think has ANY traction.
We are just bored and it was mentioned.
So put the guns away please...

What players available in free agency would be a need for the B’s? It’s not a relatively impressive group.

If you could get him for at 50% retaining ($2 million) for say Forbort, then it'd be interesting. You pick up $1 million in cap space. His 13 goals would be close to Top 5 among Bruins players (Geekie & Zacha tied for 5th at 15 goals). RoJo needs to play with guys that can put pucks in the net because he's more of a playmaker. I think that's part of the reason he didn't "work" in Colorado. He was playing with Drouin, Tatar & Cogliano

Pierre-Luc Dubois has been horrid this season. That being said the previous two seasons he was very good. I wouldn't mind him as long he can find his game from a year ago. I think the Bruins would bring that out in him. He is only 25 years old. He is just entering his 'prime' years and is a big load that can skate.

Maybe the LA lifestyle has gotten to him. Maybe he needs to be on the East Coast, closer to home. Lots of things to consider. No way a 25 year old centre goes from 60+ points to this without some kind of reason.

Ullmark + Forbort
for
Dubois + 2025 3rd round pick
