Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Come on.
Swayman is on record as saying that Ullmark is his buddy for life. However, he also says that he knows it is a business and knows chance of change is there. They all do.
These guys want to win above all else.
1) No player wants to have his buddy traded. But no player gives up if it happens.
2) Who gives a shit what the fanbase thinks? Think people will tune out or not go to games because we broke up Sway and Ullmark? Or should we spend double digit millions on our goalkeeps just to keep everyone happy and have a tight room.

I know he has the bad rep with its all about me kind of attitude but the guy was an absolute beast for Columbus back when they upset Tampa in round 1 of the playoffs

like its been said Sway and his new contract will find someone else to hug like he did in the All-star game. Its actually pretty laughable if anyone truly thinks that this will go into consideration on the Bruins dealing Ullmark.

Don isn't taking on that money till past 2030, and LA isn't going to retain any. That's a career killer for Don if it goes bad. There's just too much term there for a risky player.

PLD definitely has big risk but where else are you going to find a big potential top 6 center that slots in perfectly with the age group of the new core? Give him some life coaching from Bergy and make Marchand the new voice inside his head and I really believe he could turn it around. Just a big risk because if it backfires you are stuck with him for a long time.
Honestly you may be 100% correct, but Im willing to risk it for his talent for the right deal. Whatever that may be

Totally understand that and some people never change their stripes and some actually do. I have no idea, but like U said it doesn't look very promising on him doing it. If he comes to Boston needless to say I'd be hoping that he does and I hope if Sweeney brings in him he has a better read on it, than all of us here on a message board. lol
With said I'd be shocked if he actually comes here, it could just be a negotiation ploy, who knows at that time of season.

Every guy in that room knows how the business works. They've seen friends and longtime teammates traded before. Would some of the fanbase be unhappy? yes, but some wouldn't. If they trade Ullmark and it nets us pieces that make the team better, then I won't complain.
