NHL to Atlanta odds just increased significantly

No, that’s not what you were lying about… come on now. Which teams does Atlanta not support?
I mean... we hve a professional volleyball team now, and they currently have an attendance of zero. Sure, the franchise begins their first season later this year, but zero is still technically the correct number, right?

In all seriousness, the only thing worse than a troll is a lazy troll.

Nope… right in the middle. Same as the Bills and Eagles and more than the Bengals, Steelers, and Dolphins.

Going to keep making stuff up or just randomly pick a team?
Noticed you ignored my Hawks post because they're currently 26th in the NBA in attendance. Or are you just forgetful? Again, Atlanta can't and won't support an NHL team.

True, but this time, it feels different. I have nothing to back this up with, but I just get this sense of finality this time.

That said, I'm with you about hoping Muerelo pulls a rabbit out of the hat. What I think is more realistic for the long-term in Arizona, however, might be the idea that has been floated about selling and relocating the 'Yotes to SLC, but finding some other investor (like maybe Ishbia, with or without Muerelo as a partner) to keep working on a new arena and giving them an expansion team when/if they ever do.
It's definitely a "shit or get off the pot" moment for Meruelo and the Coyotes out there. As much as I know it feels different, I still don't want anyone to lose the team they love.

And 26th in the league. The Coyotes sell out every night too.
Motherf***ing Hawks, only 26th in the league because they only sell all the tickets the arena allows for seating and they don't just jam an extra 3,000 people in. How f***ing irresponsible of them, they should tell the fire marshal to go to hell and cram people in until no one can move so they can move all the way up the attendance list.

Oh sure, it's only the smallest NBA arena by capacity, so it's really difficult for the franchise to rank in say the top-10 in the NBA for attendance, but let's ignore that part. 26th motherf***ing place. What a bunch of goddamn slackers. Just take the franchise out back and shoot it.

Your posts get dumber each post.
You literally can’t sell more tickets. I guess Winnipeg is terrible as they’ve been bottom of the league for the last 10 years??
Sorry I'm wrecking your dream of a successful Atlanta franchise in the NHL, but it's failed twice already. It would fail a third time. Winnipeg won't have a team in ten years.

Nope so..... 5000 seats.!!! lol.
And they sell out every night. Sounds like they are really popular in Phoenix.

Why don't they get a bigger arena if there's so much demand?

I was on the same page... if they can not bring 5K fans in the barn.....it would be pitiful.

LOL.. wrecking my dream.

Just enjoying proving you wrong with every crappy post you write.

Still waiting on those existing teams Atlanta doesn’t support. You going to move to the WNBA next?
The WNBA itself wouldn't exist without subsidies from the NBA so that's too easy. But I'll point to the Atlanta Flames(That moved to Calgary and kept their name in case you didn't know) and the Atlanta Thrashers(which moved to Winnipeg and became the Jets in case you weren't aware).

This is an intellectually lazy post, and we both know it.

You're capable of being a smart poster, I've seen your posts as long as we've both been here, so I know you're capable of doing a little research. Whether you want to do that or not is up to you. I suggest you try to do a little - maybe say find out about the renovations done to the arena since it was built and the terms of the current lease on the arena - and then try to participate in the discussion, instead of continuing to lob more intellectually lazy posts.

Unless that's all you're capable of doing, which ... that would be disappointing, but c'est la vie.

Still can’t name the teams in Atlanta that aren’t supported. Way to admit you were just making stuff up.

And based on the thread, looks like Atlanta has a good shot at getting an NHL team. In case you weren’t aware.

Their last arena only sat 16k. Their current only seats 17k. I'm guessing the next arena will be maybe 18k?

They had two NHL franchises and both left within ten years due to a lack of support. In case you weren't aware. You seem to not acknowledge the failures.

Maybe he’s frustrated that the Kings aren’t selling out. Who knows
Actually, the less money the Kings make, the more likely Blake will get fired so I'm in 100% support of people not going to Kings games.
