We were 5 and 2 when the little guy came. Oh boy. Once your son becomes an actual “person w needs”, then it all went haywire for us.

we had the man on man D going ok. The zone didn’t work. At all. Still not sure we’ve figured it out. LOL
Only 10 more years until one goes to college and you’re back to man defense so there’s that?

Ugh, these NBCSN streams are always so grainy looking. I'm watching on Fubo now, but they were also consistently terrible on the NBCSN streaming app.

Not sure that's 100% the case, he's always done most everything by group discussion and consensus, and even if it were, what does it matter? BMac was simply providing the rationale for the decision, not claiming it was his decision alone. GMBM does way more media interviews than Ted, but there is a lengthy interview with Ted where he says basically all these same things as BMac is saying.

Maybe so, but Leonsis has said that McPhee didnt want either of Cassidy or Oates. Ted clearly wanted Trotz. How he felt about Reirden or Laviolette I dont know

Cheaterov with 2 in the third. 4-1 Blightening. *Ugh*

Habs going to need a miracle to win this game and the series.

Edit: The second goal was Point’s. His 15th of the playoffs.

Edit Edit: Now they have given the goal back to Cheaterov.

Stamkos scores on the PP. 5-1 Blightening. *Yuck*

Eager to see what the Bolts do with their cap situation this summer. Kucherov seemed to be banged up in the Islanders series. Could there be another surgery coming up? Or is it Stamkos turn again?

It would be hilarious if they started the next Playoffs too with what, 15-20 million over the cap.

I think it'll be a somewhat bad look for the league for the Lightning to be ~20 mil over the cap, they'll address it in the off-season and then nothing else will ever be said about it. Still pulling for the Habs but even if the Lightning get cap casualties, I think as long as they have Hedman, Vas, Kucherov and Point, they'll be a force.

Hoping the moronic NHL will finally close that loophole.

Hilarious is not the word that comes to mind

seriously if it’s not fixed I would start asking vets if they want to sit out the season and just play in the playoffs. Let Ovie go get goals, make the playoffs and then bring in your playoff roster. If the NHL doesn’t want to fix an obvious loophole then blatantly abuse it.

If the vets agree to undergo a surgery on a vital part of the body to prove they are injured then it's a reasonable suggestion. I'm afraid the vets would have a different perspective on that.

I mean, according to posters here, Kucherov wouldn’t even be an all star on the Caps. Why is it such a big deal that the Lightning have him over the cap. :sarcasm:

Given that many guys have offseason surgery, wouldn’t be hard to find a few candidates on each roster every year.

This loophole may not be closed immediately , but the League still has the ability to sanction teams that do things detrimental to the game. This won’t continue in practice unless it’s a legit injury.
