Would be nice if everyone in the Metro would stop winning. Feels like every morning when I check the scores teams in the Metro have either won or lost in OT.

Just last night you had the Rangers beat Toronto, Columbus smoked Buffalo, Philly beat New Jersey (in OT, of course), Carolina beat Vegas, and the Isles beat the Oilers. New Jersey is the only team with an L in their Streak.
 
The only bad trends in the entire East is Philly and Isles

PIT just got to 1 pt over .500
CAR and NJD were supposed to be 1/2 in metro and we're leading both of them

BUF is falling apart at .439 and not looking any better w/CBJ potting 9 against them
DET is supposed to take their big step and they're only 3 pts above .500
TBL is 2 pts above .500

BOS/TOR/NYR are the only teams to create any separation

Caps are right in it with everyone, it's gonna be a clusterpuck

We pay $12 a ticket at a table next to the Wendake Sports Complex pro shop, where a game-worn Black Jack No. 87 jersey carries the name of the league’s most famous player: BRASHEAR.

Donald Brashear is the marquee attraction. He is the Wendake Black Jack captain. He appears in most of the team’s online promotions. Brashear is the only player who doesn’t wear a helmet during warmups. His bald head shimmers under the rafter lights. From the stands, he looks almost exactly as he did when he retired from the NHL 13 years ago. A salt-and-pepper beard and slight lines around his eyes are all that betray his age.

Cry harder haters. We cant score so we game the system. Its just like the Devils left wing lock. Shorten the game and play defense and win close.
Kuz and Oshie are some of the best shoot out players in the league.

Also Haters cry about Kuz slow mo shoot out move.

It's been a pretty common practice except teams usually only did it for under a minute
Easy solution for the opposition -- Win in Regulation! ;)
that or win the puck back

funny how it's admired on a PK when the PK does 4 corners/keep away or when FLA? did it in the Playoffs b/c they had no forecheck to deal with whatsoever

Until the rules change, tough shit

lol…it’s not even that come on…..they’re just so lacking in guys who can take the puck with skill, beat their man and go to net with it or create high danger chances, that we just kept resetting….

If you suck at the shootout's there is always the possibility to trade for Kuznetsov.

The old Patrick was that way too. I read a recent thread on HF about folks claiming the Pacific being the toughest. Imho, the Metro is. In the 80s the Norris division and Patrick were.

Every Caps fan from 2006-2015. I guess the same could be made for the goalie situation during the 80s too.

I remember when Leafs fans would argue Caps fans about how he would be their deliverer. I guess they won a playoff round so they get a partial win.
