Have to think Kane is getting a couple of games given Kadri is out for the series and how dirty that hit was.

Huh, I'm in the same boat.... Just moved here from CA, and I'm 10 minutes from ball arena by scooter. Getting in to the avs has been easy and so much fun for me. How can you not fall in love with Cale Makar?

It was one game, maybe let the series play out before you start trying to dunk on people.
They've let in 2 goals in the last 6 periods and are up 3-0. Can I dunk yet?
They have to be heavy favorites against either team coming out of the east. If you're watching both series, its pretty obvious that Colorado is the best team left.

Really dirty hit on Kadri. He's a huge loss for the Avs and no wonder his agent is furious as he is about to get paid and possibly lift the Cup.

questionable goalie + no kadri is not the best way to enter finals for Avs, also they traded chances wtih Oilers too much for my liking, I dont know if their defense is that good

Id think East finalist has a good chance to make it another eastern cup (only STL since 2015 was western, right?)

I didn't watch much but Rangers doesn't look like too weak. Tampa is surely capable too. Much better goalies obviously

Rangers are another good lesson that it’s the right players and not the biggest names that make the difference at the TDL. Copp and Motte helped their poor forward depth and even strength play and Braun let them sit Nemeth who is absolute ass.

If I'm not mistaken, getting suspended in the playoffs does not carry a forfeiture in salary.

So in Kane's case, I wonder if a fine would actually be more of a deterrent than a suspension!

It's not ideal but, on the other hand, they give up the first goal early and found a way to win even when not playing all that well. Guys like Helm, Compher and Manson coming up with big goals gives them the balance to win even when their top guys are held in check. The Rangers will be a tougher all-around challenge but then they won't be on McDavid duty. They can more just play their game.

Can the NYR kid line and Miller be even bigger depth factors? It could happen. Mainly I think Colorado is just primed for it. The Rangers could well surprise. Shesterkin could be the difference. But earlier on I've got to imagine there will be an adjustment period to facing their speed relative to PIT/CAR/TBL. Just as it was for them earlier against McDavid they're going to be facing pace they haven't gone up against previously.

Could get ugly in Boston, especially if Bergeron retires. McAvoy, Grizzly Bear (or however you spell it), and Marchand all out for 6 months or more.
The only glimmer of hope there is Swayman. Otherwise the Perfection line is underwhelming and the team is geting up there in age.

This is obviously very stupid but wonder if a head coaching trade has ever happened in professional sports or if anyone has entertained the idea. Laviolette for Cassidy, Lavi 15% retained lol

I know 2022 Bruce Cassidy isn't the same as 2003 Bruce Cassidy, but I have zero interest in re-visiting that experience in Washington.

I don’t think rehiring an old coach is ever a good idea, I was mainly making a joke. But sadly those were the most successful teams for Snyder owned Skins with Gibbs 2.0

I remembered hearing about it but couldn't remember who was involved so I had to look it up:
