Yup, I started at the 1st separation,Council of Ephesus was 1200 years before the anabaptist movement in Northern Europe lol
It gets crazy after the reformationI've done a lot of reading about early Christianity in America lol
I used to work with a guy who left an Amish community and we would make jokes about him being Amish, but he would also make fun of the Amish so maybe his lack of offense isn't too indicative of anything.Plenty of Amish and Mennonites around my area of western Pennsylvania and I've never heard either of those used as insults lol.
Such a bizarre situation. But rules is rules. Kind of hilarious that he said that he didn't know what Mennonite meant though.
The really fun part is during the post-revolution frontier days when conmen would ride around pretending to be preachers, preying on uneducated folks, and establishing denominations that are still around.Yup, I started at the 1st separation,

Think I am going to go look at Judaism and Islam to see if they also have the same variety of denominations, looks like Judaism has 3 but Islam has way more than I thoughtI used to work with a guy who left an Amish community and we would make jokes about him being Amish, but he would also make fun of the Amish so maybe his lack of offense isn't too indicative of anything.

That's just a small population of them that are closer to AmishCloser to Amish than Catholic. Maybe the guy had a beard or something.
Dude didn’t even know what it meant apparently so maybe this is a good life lesson that you shouldn’t just go around yelling something because it sounded funny on letterkenny.
time to sue your schoolsyeah I had to search up what Mennonite meant lol.
Bro we would be in jail do kids even get stuffed in lockers anymore!?It wasn’t perfect but I sure am glad I grew up when I did
And f*** can they run.Youre from Vancouver no? There's a tonne of them in the Fraser Valley
And to answer @MXD , you're sort of correct. People associate them with the Amish, but that's basically Pennsylvania haha. They're a branch of the anabaptist movement, fantastic farmers
Could not agree more, this is ridiculous, the OHL has always lead the way in that regard though, going back to the Dave Branch days. We're living in a world full of people with tissue paper feelings who are actively looking for things to be offended by, it's pathetic and frustratingI’m pretty liberal and such but this is insane.
It is completely ridiculous and it's clear he is on the shit list. He needs to jump to the Q.Is it just me but does this not seem ridiculous
Oh wow. That's amazing.Aren't Sim and his teammates men on Knights?
It's a cultured insult... he's refined in the art of trash talk.2-3 million Mennonites in the entire world. What a niche insult.
Thanks ... I think.Oh wow. That's amazing.
f***ing wow.
What did all the non-human animals ever do to you! These Earthlings, I swear, they f*** up everything nowadays.
