Happy Birthday to CelsiusGirl88!

See that armband on her arm? That reminds me of the armband that French policemen wear - it says "flic" on those, which is the French word for "policeman." That's one of my favorite foreign words. So now you know.

We start the day with @Rebels57 on the clock with a regular pick and a make-up pick to pick, @BiggE on deck, @Striiker on the lido deck, and MacGruber on the lido afterdeck. CelsiusBirthdayDad88 can make up his pick after the festivities.

I saw that the basketball Flyers beat Golden State last night. They have way too many white people on that team, but the key is that none of them are Nic the Dick Deslauriers or Nick the Dick Seeler, and they aren't coached by the menstrual John the Jorts Jortsorella.

Speaking of Coachella, BLACKPINK (in your area) were just about to come on stage last night when I was going to sleep, and I couldn't stay up, so I am going to try to find that now. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

And thus it begins. Please welcome to Jacksonville, and by welcome I mean beat, tar & feather, and bury alive, spite forward, TOMAS SANDSTROM.

Look at that f***ing mug, even his mom probably hated him. This chickenshit dive artist is hated by me even more than I hate most NY Rangers and that’s pretty damned impressive!

I’ll leave you with this cherished memory and go f*** yourself Sandstrom. It’s the highlight of Dave Brown’s career.

@Striiker , be glad you are too young to remember this piece of crap.

The Honolulu Ghibli fetch our easel and select as Team Painter: John William Waterhouse

I've always been obsessed with Waterhouse and his mastery of tragic beauty. He gets me in my feels. If I could be a billionaire and adorn my home with a few of his works, staring at them every day, I would. He might not be the most known of names, but there's a good chance you recognize his works, even if you don't recognize the name.

Waterhouse, an English painter primarily painting in Victorian times, followed the "Pre-Raphaelites" before him. This artistic coterie's basic idea was to do away with Renaissance and Neoclassical postures and subjects and stylings. They emphasized a quiet intensity and mysteriousness; the ethereal and the emotional. Their subjects were ripped out of literature, poetry, mythology -- always with a saturated and meticulous sense of the natural world (.....not unlike the animation of my namesake Quackverse team). Waterhouse especially focused on painting women -- sorceresses, seductresses, sirens, damsels -- and what can I say but: I would simp for each and every one. I don't think anyone was better at painting a tragic heroine.

How YOU doin'?

We start the day with @pit on the clock, @GKJ on deck, @ajgoal on the lido deck, and the perverted and totally gross Young Pervert on the disgusting Perv afterdeck.

Well, boys, we are almost there. The Stanley Cup Playoffs? Don't make me laugh. I mean the NFL Draft, which kicks off Survival Mode in the sports calendar. Survival Mode is when there is shit else going on, but you get the occasional days that help fill your head with thoughts about the days that WILL matter later. You get to think about who your team will draft and where interesting guys end up, then you see who your team drafts and where those interesting guys end up, then you can think about how those guys will change things. Then before you know it, the NHL Draft Lottery is nigh. Before, during and after that, we get to laugh at the Sacramento Flyers' futility. The golf majors are four-day aids to survival, though when you draft your golf fantasy team like I did, it's more like four-day AIDS. Then the NHL Draft is here, AKA "Clenched Anus Day." And so on.

Speaking of making me laugh, f***ing Barry Melrose was just on TV. I think he was trying to preview those stupid playoffs, but I couldn't understand a single word the muttering, stuttering c*** had to say. ESPN, innit.

Make up pick time.

Sometimes you like a prospect, but when they get to the show, they ultimately disappoint you. This happened to the Sockeyes in a bizarre way.

Before ESPN landed the NHL rights for the second time, our beat writer had quietly built herself a nice career and we enjoyed her hits when she appeared on Canadian TV. Then ESPN won the TV deal and has her on TV constantly... I don't know what happened, but the questions she asks her interviewees, the outfits she wears, and her inane sideline reporting have completely ruined all the good she did before.

So, the Seattle Sockeyes will go another way and use Redraft II to replace Emily Kaplan and select one of the pillars of hip hop as our new beat writer: Marley Marl.

No tag, no message, I see how it is @Magua . Luckily I have no spites reserves at this very moment as I have it all channeled in one direction.

To call this person a hockey player is probably more of a compliment than they deserve. Strike that, it's definitely more of a compliment than they deserve. But honestly f*** this guy. It's more important that he gets what is coming to him, especially when one factors in how much time we had to waste justifiably calling out his d*****bag actions and making sure the indefensible was not defended. He wasn't directly involved in those posts, but this prick caused it all with his idiot fratboy actions.

Besides, who else has a father-son line on their spite team?

@GKJ , you seem like a good fellow. Certainly not the kind who pushes the wheelchair of a person with a disability down stairs, right?

I have done things I am not proud of, but never that.
