Don't cry because it's over. Cry because it happened.

We start the day with brother and father and father-to-be @Hollywood Cannon on the clock, @Beef Invictus on deck, @Lord Defect on the suddenly defective lido deck, and Chuckles on the lido afterdeck.

It's like a great weight has been lifted off our shoulders, and a different, equally heavy weight has been put on our shoulders. I really do hope that, quote, "everyone is available," but I'll believe it when I see it, obviously. I would feel better if he had said, quote, "everyone is gone," but you take small victories where you find them. Unlike the team, we like to win in the margins, innit.

So let's go into the offseason focusing on the Quackverse, like we should, and see what happens. I'm not going to try to gaslight you by saying everything, or even anything, will be different - we all know that this hole can always get deeper, we all know the #DarkestTimeline is a relentless bitch. What I will tell you, though, is that no matter what happens, we can always laugh at them and embrace the spite. Spite is the ultimate contingency, innit. Long live spite.

I really thought I picked. My bad people.

We are going to select as our Team Spite Goalie someone that I’m not even sure if he was selected in the first place…

Chris Osgood

Screw his stupid ass mask and screw the Red Wings.

@Beef Invictus wow us with your beefness.

Wow whoa zoom

Thank you Cannon! Glittering Cannon! Vajazzled Cannon! Bedeviled Cannon!

I pick my pre-1968 Actor. He is DUSTIN HOFFMAN

Dustin Hoffman, also known as Dustin Hoffman, is famous for being an actor in many movies. As seen above, he was Captain Hook in a film about him, called Hook. Where he is the protagonist. It is the best role of his career. We need to have a new New Hollywood.

@Lord Defect! Intoxicated Defect! Flummoxed defect! Violent Defect!

Hoffman made 1 movie before 1968. A TCM fiend like yourself…….I expected better.

I can't believe that Defect II hasn't heard the word "vajazzled." Even I have heard that, and I haven't heard anything.

Speaking of defective, we start the day with f***ing @Lord Defect on the clock, @Chuck Downie on deck, @CanadianFlyer88 on the lido deck, and Rebel on the lido afterdeck with a regular pick and a make-up pick to make, the drunk bastard. Like MacGruber, I am surprised that Biff couldn't find a better classic actor in the recesses of his diseased mind than Dustin Hoffman. Then again, he is a hot mess.

I was thinking of something. You know how we pronounce "Erasmus" as "Erasmoos"? I was thinking we should do the same thing with "anus." "Anoos." The reason I thought of this was that I saw Unai Emery on TV. Unai Emery is a weird alien f***er from Uranus who manages Aston Villa. Whenever I see or hear or think of him, I think of bodily functions or human waste in some way. It's not my fault - if he doesn't like it, he should be less f***ing weird. Anyway, "anoos." It's something to keep in mind.

I watched another Don Yen joint last night - "Flashpoint" (2007). It was the other film mentioned as "brutal" when I read that article last week about "SPL: Kill Zone." Thing is, it's MUCH less brutal (and good) than "SPL." It's not a bad movie, per se, it's just not in the other film's league. There is one great fight at the end, where I was sitting here like, quote, "Don is going to end you, motherf***er." That fight was epic as balls - there just weren't enough of them.

And the rest of us are spiting you for taking someone Bern already drafted.
It was never confirmed that we can’t dupe spite picks. I also didn’t check.

It'd be amazing if he ever learned to read
Do what now?

Well spite TK for continuing to score inspire of the team around him and at the detriment of a better draft pick.
