Ok, the only other thing I don’t understand is the random people thrown in, like taking Satan in the 2022 draft thing. Which categories can I do that with and which ones have to be actual players? Oh and which thread has everyone’s picks so I don’t pick something already taken?

Here's the sheet. It's a lot. My deputy @Captain Dave Poulin can help if you have any private questions. Any other questions you can just ask in here and one of us may or may not help. Cap may have a better breakdown and category description of everything though so that things make more sense.



Satan was chosen as the Methgators Trial By Combat participant. Basically every category that's not hockey... can be filled by pretty much anything in the world. If you dream it you can be it.

@BigToe you can fill them in at your own pace - there's no rush at all. You'll have to check the spreadsheet to make sure the things you want haven't been picked, and that will take some time anyway. The next phase has some f***ing amazing categories, so you can focus on that for the most part and just fill in whatever old categories you think of until then.

@BigToe you can fill them in at your own pace - there's no rush at all. You'll have to check the spreadsheet to make sure the things you want haven't been picked, and that will take some time anyway. The next phase has some f***ing amazing categories, so you can focus on that for the most part and just fill in whatever old categories you think of until then.

The thing is, I put all the explanations for the different categories in the different threads, and I can't remember shit about the specifics of them. Like, the best way to understand each one is to go to that thread and read the OP, which has all the explanation for that phase. We do about 12 categories per phase. Then if you still don't understand them you can PM me or anyone else aside from Lord Defect or Asnito, because those two are f***ed in the head.

I would spend the weekend coming up with a team name and location, since we will probably start the next phase Monday-ish. Maybe a general vibe for your team. Some people are more thematic in their picks than others, whether earnestly or jocularly. Then do next phase with us, as you would, and see how we do things and constantly get creative and loophole, when applicable.

A phase probably takes us 4-6 weeks. So, take that time and brainstorm all your make up picks. No rush. Think about a blouse template that Cap can kindly whip up for you. Then maybe the next phase, you can make your big reveal.

Ctrl+F is your friend when looking at the spreadsheet. Cap always has a website link on page 1 of each phase, if you don’t want to just use the embedded spreadsheet. There’s only one rule: don’t be defective. But some people, bless their hearts, can’t help it.
