The plats after much deliberation have come to a consensus on their first try with no issues previously. We select JACKSON BLAKE

Mr. Panther, he was from selected in the 2021 draft. I don’t believe we can select players we didn’t take in previous drafts? “You will have to decide on five players who were drafted in this past NHL draft.”

Otherwise, this could be the Wild West.

I don't remember if I spelled it out this way in the OP this time, but the core qualification is that they had to be eligible to be drafted in the 2023 draft - I did it like that so we could draft overagers or re-entries or whatever. But yeah, this guy got drafted in 2021, so I don't know where DP got him from

I'm just looking at that pNHL list that got posted in the prospect thread. I don't know who the f*** any of these guys are. Just skip me and I'll pick 3 idiots later

That's fine - you can just look here and check the names against the Search tab in the spreadsheet (when you have time):

The Honolulu Ghibli give our organization an intellectual jolt with Team Scientist.....Dr. Frederick Frankenstein

How many mad scientists would donate some of their intellect to their creation, rather than see its demise; and in so doing, right the wrongs of the past? Now, that's benevolence!

I guess the Flyers got their asses caved in again. I don't know how that happened with Staalsy in the group from the room.

We start the day with @pit on the clock, @BiggE on deck, @Strawberry Fields on the lido deck, and ajgoal on the lido afterdeck. Milord and DancingPants have to make up picks as well.

I turned on that Taylor Swift concert and stayed on it for about 30 seconds. I don't know why I did it, but I did. She was f***ing lip synching. She charges like $35,000 for a ticket, too. I'm sure she didn't lip synch the whole time, but f***ing hell. There's nothing wrong with her songs, but they are all almost exactly the same.

Sorry for the slow post - trying to get a bunch done before rehearsals start on Monday.

I can't figure out of bar/hangout should have so many options that I should be paralyzed or so few I should be scraping the bottom of the barrel.

I spun the wheel in my head where the hamster is usually running and decided that small concert venues also have bars and you can hang out there. So I've got quite a few out there I like, but I'm going to go with the one I saw some of the best shows of my life back in the 90's - my first Superchunk show, second Archers of Loaf show, first Versus show and on and on.

3 of my 5 favorite bands circa 95. My first Archer's show was in NY, but Superchunk (the single greatest show I've ever been to) & Versus (opening up for Yo La Tengo) were at the [Ranch]adero, which I'm just now realizing I could have picked for this category, but I have a thematic pick with a rich history both familial and otherwise lined up instead.
