Wonder if Jaeger is still on that Carolina train after last night. They have some holes that are very problematic with the main ones being goalie and a finisher. 2 things that are difficult to pick up.

Evason had a 147-77-27 in his time with the Wild. That’s pretty good. I feel like some other team is gonna benefit from the Wild’s rash decision over their shooters going cold and their goalies playing bad, neither of which can really be chalked up to coaching.

They aren't playing bad because their shooters went cold and their goalies are bad. That's something someone who only looks at stats sheets, would say.

They have $15MM in dead cap space for one. Poorly constructed roster for another reason. They draft what seems to be fine but development stalls when they get to NHL for another. KK will most likely bolt when his contract is up in a year and a half. They will be stuck in this for the next half decade at least. Probably longer. Not like FAs are clamoring to play for the Wild either.

You’re right, its much more likely Evason just forgot how to coach and KK forgot how to score.

Their whole team isn't scoring. Explain that, they all just went cold? lol They have also never done anything in the playoffs, you won't find many Wild fans upset that he was let go.

Same reason every Vancouver Canuck is shooting the lights out. Or do you think Rick Tocchet is the second coming of Scotty Bowman?

I didn't think he was there for 5 years now. So yeah, fine with them firing him at this point

That Stars/Flames game was a fun one tonight. Except for the Stars having everything reviewed it seemed.

Torts at it again. Replies are pretty damning. Fans complaining that Farabee got sat tonight whilst Torts’ “guys” go unpunished for egregious mistakes

Yup, standard operating procedure for Torts.
