I tried to find anything on it and couldn't. I know he hit Carter Verhaegen similarly hard in the first period. Maybe he was getting stick work all game after that one? Not sure.

But yeah, the Sens attempted to trade a player in violation of his contract. That's fair, whataboutisms notwithstanding.

And to be clear, the Hawks should've been fined more, and if the league wants to implement draft or cap punishments for criminal matters, that's a conversation certainly worth having.
