Losing is one thing. You can just lack talent.
This bullshit is unacceptable. ZERO sharks players? Its a 5-0 game. Good on Vancouver for checking on him, clearly an accident. But to have zero teammates come over is a f***ing joke.

Seems like Quinn has yet to have a successful year in the NHL.No camaraderie
Team needs a major overhaul
Quinn who?Seems like Quinn has yet to have a successful year in the NHL.
David Quinn. I get that roster is horrible but he was bad in NY and they're awful and giving shit effort in SJ.Quinn who?
Not really a Davidson player. He’s talented enough that it wouldn’t matter too much, but I can’t imagine the price would be anything short of astronomical and Davidson isn’t paying that for a guy that doesn’t really fit the MOWould love to try and acquire Kent Johnson.
Yeah but not every player needs to skate like the wind in my opinion. Not really a Davidson player. He’s talented enough that it wouldn’t matter too much, but I can’t imagine the price would be anything short of astronomical and Davidson isn’t paying that for a guy that doesn’t really fit the MO
Did anyone see Marchands dirty play vs. The Leafs last night? I mean, it could have been an accidental trip, but you can't really give the guy the benefit of the doubt either.
The thing that gets me, is there wasn;t a single Leaf player that got in his face. Not right after it, nor for the rest of the game. Here is the play, and below that the interaction with Marchand and the Leafs bench immediately after the play.
Notice the lack of anything from anyone but Reaves (who isn't going to do anything sitting on the bench all game anyway), and then look at Bertuzzi. What a clown show the Leafs are.
I mean, he stuck his stick in between his legs in a very dangerous position. After watching it I didn't think it was intentional, but just who it was would at least get a reaction from me. People make clean hits all the time and teams jump them for it, it wasn't nothing. The guy pretty much had to be carried off the ice.To be completely honest... I don't see anything egregious there. I'd be the first to call out Marchand for being dirty. I hate him. This is a nothing play with a bad result, which is probably why there isn't much reaction from the bench.
I mean... Liljegren is even the one who slows down to initiate contact, and it's this attempt at a reverse hit/body block that causes him to go down awkwardly, not the stick of Marchand. Marchand was going to tie up Liljegren's stick. His stick didn't cause the fall. The unfortunate positioning of it probably made it worse, though.I mean, he stuck his stick in between his legs in a very dangerous position. It's not so much the lack of reaction, but Bertuzzi laughing and guys just showing no emotion towards him after seeing your teammate get hurt bad should get some blood boiling.
Was more thinking that compete would be the issue Davidson would haveYeah but not every player needs to skate like the wind in my opinion.
I don't even know if I'd call it that. Liljegren initiated contact, which is what put him off balance and headed towards falling in the first place. Pretty obvious laws of physics at play here. Marchand at full speed and Liljegren slowing down and attempting to move in the opposite direction for a "body block" are really the determining factors. I think the stick factored into making it worse than it should have been, as Liljegren's leg gets caught up on it in the air on the way down. That's a two minute tripping call. Bertuzzi smiling is a bad look though.
That's typical Marchand... so sneaky dirty that some folks are deceived into thinking it was a normal hockey play. It happens way too often with this guy - he no longer gets the benefit of the doubt. This was a Marchand pitch fork play - Liljegren will be lucky if he escapes having a broken ankle as a result.I don't even know if I'd call it that. I assume you're referring to Jack; unfortunately I'm not watching but I hope it isn't serious.Anyone been watching NJ vs STL that saw how Hughes got hurt?
