I mean, what fanbase would be that desperate? Just wondering........ (Rangers).
It's the NHL. A whole bunch of teams.

Some real bad coaching this playoff.

- Keefe was badly outcoached in both series and only won vs TB because the team was running on fumes
- Oilers coach going back to Skinner after he repeatedly sucked and not giving Campbell who did well in relief his shot and the Oilers dismal 5 vs 5 play (An issue that seems constant under coach)
- Islanders coach had that Colliton deer in headlights/keep chewing that bubble gum look and seemed to not grasp the idea of matching lines, etc
- The absolutely abysmal refusal to change things up with regard to Rangers among other issues
- Jets complete dysfunction

That was just a few of the poor coaching/team issues in playoffs, Now think of several vacancies in league beyond them as well.

Q is the best coach available but of course the question is if he will be allowed to coach

If Q does come back, he will be looking at joining playoff team

He is going to be 65 and really can't see this being more then 3-4 year run for him which is why team like Rangers makes sense as the signed/core of team is essentially going to be around for 3-4 years

At the press conference he said he would either be back with the Leafs or take time away from the game.

I think he’ll have a job as soon as he wants one.

Leafs seem pretty cemented in. Unless you think a tweak here and there is the difference to get eleven more wins, I don't really know what they can do.

Dubas is a scapegoat for Shanabans pursuit of John Tavares, he overpaid a chronic under achiever and the Laffs have been trying to fill the holes that caused in their defensive and goaltending ever since.
The trades Dubas made at the deadline were damn impressive and the Florida Panthers (my pick to win the Cup) rained on their parade.

A paycheck's a paycheck, but an intrinsic aspect of sports is also having fun. Hard to do that when the franchise is rudderless and you don't even know if it's a good idea to set down roots or not in case the team moves in a year or two, even if just to an opposite side of the metro area.

Keller isn't an electrician. He's getting paid anywhere.
