Byram will be a year better and they can find another goalie. Probably trade for a 2C at the deadline and ride their depth until then.

They have hardly any players signed for next season. They are going to have to turn over quite a bit of this roster. After next season, MacKinnon is a UFA, too. He's going to get PAID.

There's a reason it's so hard to win multiple cups in the cap era. Their core is absolutely ridiculous, but they have to surround them with the right depth if they want to get back here. Look at the 2011 and 2012 Blackhawks.

Crazy Mcdavid still led the playoffs in points.

I’ve never seen such a dominate performance consistently through the playoffs or the entire year for that matter. I can’t think of a single blemish throughout the campaign for them. This team was on rails.
