So public lists which are largely opinions of non-hockey people are credible lists. However NHL teams lists are not credible. Only Bob's roll-up of those NHL teams lists is credible. Got it!

Bob and McKeens list are considered credible for me yes. I take that and adjust it to my own opinions but I don't go off the board too much with it. I find going from 14 to 5 a reach. I know you don't agree.

I just replied to another post showing you the conversation was top 5. Not top 10. I have him 8-13 so top 10 fits. No need to create an argument on top 10 because I agree with that part not being a reach. It was top 5 conversation

Do you think Bob changes his top 15 when he releases his 15+ rankings?

@Schooner Guy

This is where our conversation started. Why did you add the top 10 narrative after your hostile BS coming in hot stance? It was a top 5 conversation. Read my post that you first replied to.

Also, why do you think this has "likely increased since the lottery edition of the poll was released". Where is the context to support that?

Also, Bob released his top 15. When is he releasing the rest and do you think he changes his top 15? That I am wondering about.

There's the politician at work again. You paste that post but don't paste the other 3-4 posts where I mentioned the 3 out of 10 have him in the top 10.

Anyhow, the "you said this, I said that" back and forth really doesn't matter. It's clear that several NHL scouts have Sennecke in their top 10 in a draft where the 2-14 range is totally up for grabs.

Neither Bob's or McKeen's list are final yet.

McKeen just released theirs recently. Early this past week or late last. Can't remember. That list is shockingly very close to the one I had before it came out. They have Iggy 5th but Bob had him 10th.

So you do think Bob changes his top 15 when he releases his 15+. That would be interesting context for me. Does Sennecke stay at 14 or does he move down. I personally have him 8-13 ish.

Bullshit and politician are trigger words. I stand firm on what I said and you end up using trigger words in your debating. Come on man, you are better than that.

3/10 having him in the top 10 means nothing to my statement where you started the conversation. 1/10 having him top 5 does. It's all little digs because at the end of the day, Bob has him 14th and so does McKeen. Please bounce other lists you feel are credible.

2-14 is not all one waive. It's not easy to predict yes but I stand firm on trying to justify Sennecke 5th as not being a reach.

Lets see if Bob alters his top 15 and where Sennecke ends up. Because your 1/10 (top 5) and your 2/10 (top 10) is 3 scouts and the other 7 had him much worse to end up 14th. General consensus is of value for me.

Why is McKeens more credible than McCagg or Pronman who have Sennecke at 5 and 7? Like them or not, their lists are always more accurate than McKeens. Those two make a living out of compiling lists based on their conversations with hockey people employed by NHL teams.

This is exact same as the buzz leading up to Slaf...
Then leading up to Reinbacher...
yet so many people here still thought they should/would pick Wright/Michkov.

If Demidov is gone, I'd bet my shorts they are picking Lindstrom/Sennecke

I'm going to guess Sennecke is high on our list. Kid is still growing & is continuing to improve his game. His skill level is pretty insane. He's really similar to Dach except he plays an inside game and will shoot the damn puck.

Yup McKeen's final list was posted last Saturday on the prospect board here.

I didn't say their list was not as credible. Why did it take you 10+ posts to bounce what you feel is a credible list? Pretty sure I asked this question early on. Or did I miss it?

Personally, I would trust Pronman more than McCagg. I'm assuming Pronman has him 7th? Well, that is not top 5 bud and I have Sennecke 8-13. That's somewhat close to Pronman and better than Bob and McKeen.

Remember, the statement you called BS was there is no creditable list that has Sennecke top 5. I personally don't hate McCagg but I would trust others over him.

Was it McCagg or Pronman who had Sennecke 5th?

New concept.

At next year’s Combine, all these draft guide and list mongerers should be assigned a table.

First, they get drilled by reporters (the select few that will ask tough questions).

And for the 2nd wave, they’ll have to face the players they ranked, especially the ones they listed low. Those one-on-one exchanges would be epic and could tell teams more about a player’s feistiness than spirit animal questions.

Very likely, since his "Draft lottery edition" (May 6th) is the result of votes that took place in March/April. The poll for the final ranking happens in Early/Mid June.

Masse has higher IQ, better vision, but is a below average skater. Boisvert has better skating, is more physical, more consistent with his effort.

I'd say it's like:

Boisvert
10% 2nd line
70% 3rd line
10% 4th line
10% bust

Masse
20% 2nd line
30% 3rd line
20% 4th line
30% bust

NHL teams will value Boisvert more highly.
There is no way Boisvert is only 10% bust. Unless by bust you mean not ever playing a game in the NHL.

Some concerns had arisen about the possibility of teams like the Canadiens interviewing him. A rumor then emerged, suggesting a subsequent interview session with the Demidov clan, and thanks to Kevin Dubé of the Journal de Québec, we now know that this rumor is true.

Kent Hughes and the Canadian will officially meet Ivan Demidov in the coming days.

I think the skating, physicality and tools keep him in the NHL a long time regardless.

His dad also runs a boxing gym. Even if it's just as a goon he'll have a career.
