Anyone else having a rough time with input delay in CHEL? It's unplayable for me right now when there's a full second delay while trying to play defense.
Uploaded my franchise mode roster for Xbox X/S today. It has ratings and potential changes for every league, improved juniors rankings, 300+ created players, a few movie characters, and a dozen or so upcoming NCAA free agents. I updated all contract extensions, added the top ten prospects for every team, and a dozen or so guys for the next four drafts.
I don’t do any equipment editing or facial editing.
If anyone wants to make some changes or change anything else, feel free, and feel free to give me a shout out if you upload it.

I just got the game the other day, and I know EA ain't known for their ratings... but how the f*** is Robin Lehner still Vegas' highest rated goalie post roster update? That idiot ain't ever playing in the league again and he's better than all 5 of their goalies who played last year. Unreal

I'd pay $70 for NHL 25 if the only thing they worked on for the next year was making the menus and UI not look like they're glitching out all the time and take 40 seconds per click doing it.

How the hell do get to use your custom sliders in BAP? Even if I change manually inside the BAP save, they immediately reset to default.

Last patch almost broke the game... At least for "World of Chel".
Seems like a sizeable number of people are now experiencing a glitch that defaults club jerseys to all black and doesn't let you change them. We've had multiple games now where we are stuck using dark jerseys against other team dark jerseys.
There's a work-around for this that requires you to use stock jerseys, which defeats the entire purpose of custom club jerseys. We also have a color-blind club member, so this is an actual accessibility issue.
EA stated over a month ago that they will be fixing this issue, and the latest patch made it worse than before... Not to mention a slew of other glitches that this patch created as well.

Yup I experienced this glitch 4 times in a row in a league game, had to restart the game every time it's an absolute joke.
The only good thing for EASHL with the last patch was you don't take intereference penalties when trying to shoot anymore. Everything else was for HUT or online Vs, they dont care about CHEL players. Rag Meter and hipchecks are still broken. I legit despise EA for their lack of awareness of their community and product, they should be ashamed of themselves.

Franchise mode is a mess for simulation. Traded Jeff Carter to add some cheap depth and he won the conn smythe with 30 pts in the playoffs playing on the 3rd line 
why they take away protect the puck? thought it was X but its acutally the right analog stick. it puts my player to hipcheck or throw a hit. ea should give players an option.
it wasnt needed. experienced players know how to control the zone and make their own pressure dont need that feature
Exactly, and on top of that they have it in all game modes including 3s. How can anyone think a pressure meter is necessary in 3s? Anyone who watches any NHL hockey knows that overtime is extremely passive defending. They're just out of it man. It's honestly so frustrating.

In HUT, whenever my players have the puck, instead of saying the name under the player, it has my XBox gamer tag name. Sometimes it’ll change back to the player name, but rarely. It’s a dumb small thing but it means sometimes it’s hard to tell who has the puck and it drives me insane. Is there anyway to fix this?

Just re-start your club and you will get the ability to select any jersey you want back.
They were pretty clear when announcing this patch and what it contained that Hip Checks were going to be nerfed, *but not in this patch.*
We need it ASAP. World of Chel is broken man. Can't have 10 guys out there throwing hipchecks non stop, it's so bad.
It would be great if hipchecks worked exactly like they did last season. The fact that they auto target opponents like Truculence is ridiculous and only serves to benefit players with absolutely no skill.
I used the hipcheck animation last year to my benefit defensively because it allows your character to strafe laterally, which allows you to gain inside body position on puck carriers unexpectedly. Not this year.

hopefully they release another patch so players have the options for controls. its all over the place even for experienced players its hard to get it memorized.
The game f***ing sucks, as somebody who played high level 6s the on ice gameplay is much worse then 23s, the pressure system is horrible and slows the game down to a halt. even with max speed and 90+ endurance it's like your playing an alumni game as one of the 60 year old men. you lose energy way to quickly and when you have low energy you can't f***ing do anything, even with high energy they completely f***ed up the stick handling, it takes way to long to go from backhand to forehand even with high deking stats it doesn't make a difference. Goalies in 6s can just sit in the middle and they will save 75% of shots even ones on the short side they aren't covering but also sometimes they will be covering the shortside and you will just shoot it right through them. Hip checks are broken you get slightly touched by them and immediately crumble but they are the only effective way to knock players off the puck, poke checks are unreliable, stick lifts are an auto penalty and the new hitting often just doesn't work. For some reason the morons at EA decided that every time someone scores a goal you have to watch a 15 second unskippable cutscene of a guy celebrating, the game just loves wasting your time. The main reason to buy new NHL games for the past couple of years was to play EASHL 6s but now it is just not fun to play. The singleplayer modes went un-updated from last year's game, and are still horrible messes, the be a pro still has your coach annoying you 4 times a game slowing the gameplay to a halt. The franchise mode is still laughably horrible when compared to nba 2k's franchise mode. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME, instead go on ebay and get yourself a copy of NHL Legacy. It will probably cost less money and you'll get a better game.

Okay after spending a good amount of hours in HUT, I know why I didn't play the mode the last few years. It's just too much of a grind. I loved it in NHL 15 because of the divisions and the ultimate goal to win division 1 and you could also get relegated down. I play a lot of FUT this year and have quite a good team only from packs which I earned by playing, doing SBC, etc. But in NHL the rewards for a lot of games a week feel soooo bad. Also all these special cards for every event are a mess. Add clunky and slow menus and no web app, I switch back to Online VS (beside my franchise), I think. I just wish they would implement a division system in Online VS (like EA FC), that would be perfect.

The one year I played it I came to the same conclusion. The mode’s economy is too stacked in EA’s favour. It takes too much time played to upgrade your team and spending money doesn’t even effectively bridge the gap because of the pack odds.
