I was extatic with the win, but the best part of the game for me was with 10 seconds left when Miller tapped Comrie on the head with his stick while the clock counted down. It must be the softie in me but this team REALLY appears tight!!!! We are in for a fight come playoffs, but do not doubt their resolve to play for eachother and the crest. Schenn is going to be a huge part of our success. Well done Chevy.

Who knew therd was such a sensitive segment of posters on here. As if Arniel would say that to his superstar goalie. If you did not get my sarcasam then I really cannot help you. Since, I also went on to admit I was wrong and ate crow.
The treatment I get out here is next level admonishment for having a different opinion. I am told to feel joy, act like the regular season should mean more than it does, ignore the fact there are other teams equal to or better than the Jets and ignore the fact they match up better with some teams than others. It is shocking but not as shocking as posters who take the time to press the ignore button.
It is petulant, ignorant and could be construed as bullying but I will not go away. I will be the voice of the marginized, the ignored, the bullied.
I will continue my next level analysis without the need for validation from fellow keyboard warriors that would rather admonish me than engage in thoughtful discussion about our team that will hopefully continue this great regular season in the playoffs.

Next level analysis? ........

For some reason, Stanley and Miller make an OK pairing. When Stan plays with anyone else, he's much worse.

And putting him on his off side is a terrible mistake
It will be interesting to see how Arniel puts Neal Pionk back into the lineup. I agree with you Stanley and Miller seem to get it done together. But if Pionk goes back to his regular top 4 spot, no way do I want to see Stanley-Schenn, that's just a dangerous pairing speed wise, to me.

Also Miller's shot on the PP is an asset, keeping him in while taking Appleton out (as the injury replacement for Gabe) probably boosts the 2nd PP's effectiveness. But the Jets won't want to lose Schenn on the PK, he's been good there.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Fleury-Schenn again, with Stan and Miller backing them up. At least you have 4 d pairings that can work that way. Heinola and Coghlan would be the 5th pairing at this point, in case of emergency.

Yup, it will be very interesting

It looked like Arniel's preference was to have Fleury's skating ability on the bottom pairing with Schenn, but he didn't show very well in his couple of games there

I agree with Stanley - Schenn being a potential disaster, but it wouldn't surprise me to see Arniel at least run it up the flagpole to see what's there for a game or two

They only played one game together, the Rangers game, and successfully killed off 2 of 3 penalties, played pretty tight. Top PK unit gave up the only Rangers goal. Schenn gave Fleury a lot of credit for helping him on the fly in his first game as a Jet. Pionk who was obviously injured was pulled for the next game against Dallas and Schenn moved up, with Sammy, while Fleury and Miller continued to be an adventure, which led to Stan coming back.

I like the idea of the Sask boys sticking together on one pairing and the Ontario boys on the other. But there's obviously other things to consider.

I was wrong. Jets came to play for first.
Keep it going tomorrow
I am curious how they will paly tomorrow. Will they get Vejmelkaed? Will Ehlers be in the line up? It was a relatively uneventful third period despite a late push by the Knights. This is nota must win but it is a game they should win.

Probably safe to say that Jaret Anderson-Dolan is with the Jets for the rest of the season.

I like it. Counted 12 Canadians on the starting roster last night.
He had a great game. He brought some of that LA Kings ' forecheck' presence to the game. Played well with Tanev and Baron.

I have never seen a poster in 10 years get picked on in here unless they are trying to cause stuff. The Jets aren't perfect that's for sure and i could see being negative about the team if we were, i don't know, Vancouver for example. To be constantly negative about the Jets, yes saying i don't think the Jets are going to win but i hope so is being negative.
1st in the NHL, 52-20-4 for 108 points
3rd in the league for goals scored
Least amount of goals against in the NHL
Best goals for / against in the NHL with a +84
And then to say the Leafs are going to win the Cup more than once on the Winnipeg Jets forum seems like you are trying to stir shit up, at least to me anyway. I will say it again if we were struggling to make the playoffs or not going to i can totally understand being negative but not at all with the season we are having. Go Jets Go .

Comrie looked a little weirded out by that head tap...

See forum rule #2. Your shtick is getting old. You can consider this a formal warning.

My bad, I thought that they had a longer stretch together

I think I was confused when pionk left the line up and they moved Schenn up and Fleury didn't look great with Miller maybe
