Seems like last year would have been a great time for him to make the cover. Still, nice look cover. Hopefully we get some impressive new features, add-ons, because the last few years have felt a little smoother but nothing impressive.

A little concerned about this goalie fatigue thing, do all shots tire them out the same meaning people can just throw trash from every angle constantly and be rewarded the same as someone setting up quality shots? It didn’t make a distinction

Animations look similar still for checking and skating. Would like to see if there's new modes

Not sure I like having to pay for a battle pass to be truly rewarded for my play when the game is a mess at its stand alone price but we’ll see how the play test goes

Some nice features added, unfortunately it still looks like an arcade game visually.

Hopefully they significantly upgraded some of the game modes(BAP in particular), or it'll likely be a skipper for me

Things like the one touch passes, the dekes and the defending tools are already in the game already if you know how to manipulate the secondary mechanics. None of those animations really showed me anything remotely new.

The idea that I'll have to hit a completely different button to target different teammates to pass just seems unnecessarily bulky. Unless I misunderstood.

What I do like to hear is that you can develop out of moves. It leads me to believe that they may have actually coded a shot animation cancelation, which we've been asking for for multiple versions of this title.

Meh on the crossplay feature.

I didn't fully understand how the dekes were changing, looked the same to me.

The one touch passing is interesting, provided that they fixed the AI teammates who are never open. Last year there was a direct route to the net as a puck carrier while defenders stayed glued to teammates.

Very curious about the exhaust engine as well. Hopefully the goalie fatigue and new animations lead to some more organic goals.

I don't think BAP will get much this year. Seems like each year they put all their focus into updating 1 mode and this year WOC got it

I'm hoping the overused, half turn, turn back, back and forth that players do to keep the puck doesn't fill up the goalie fatigue meter.

Still no mention of PC. It has been nearly 7 years since the last EA NHL game I played but it was my only reason for playing console. Cant bring myself to spend 300.00+ just to be able to play. Sad

How about that, looks like they changed up the game engine. Kind of surprised.

Still will be interesting to see how it executes. Too much catch up logic and different rules/outcomes applying to user vs. computer controlled teams in the past, and especially last year's game was unplayable in this respect.

Yeah, very much hoping we can adjust pressure effects and goalkeeper fatigue with sliders, seems a bit gimmicky now, may need some balancing.
