All i want is for them to fix franchise mode. Thats it. I dont give a rats ass about multiplayer. Last year was the first year i skipped nhl series in over 20 years.
I’m was so pissed off 22 and 23 were pretty much the same damn thing until it’s changed I’ll never buy again. I played nb2k 23 I hate basketball but it’s fun and in-depth… ea should take notes on that

Honestly kinda impressed by this, first time I recall them admitting their game sucked. They actually uttered the words GM connected and acknowledged how long fans have been asking for it, and the idea of allowing the community to be more involved with the direction of the game and opening the discord. I could see the discord being very negative and hopefully they allow honest criticism and take it to heart.

I'll get banned from that in a day.

Lol I think the online community surrounding this game can be very toxic, and I’m far from the type of sensitive person that would even call things toxic lmao. I find the meme of this game sucking to be pretty funny but when they’re showing humility and extending an olive branch like this, I hope that our community is respectful when airing grievances and telling them what we want. I hope people don’t just troll and run them off the server.

I agree. But I still have a sour taste in my mouth when these same people wouldn't dare to acknowledge that WOC games wouldn't work for months upon release on OG pre-crossplay launch.

Saying that it fell short of expectations is a significant shortfall of describing what actually occurred.

How come the coward, Sean Ramjagsingh, wasn't there? That clown needs to be fired last year.

Because I want him to say the stuff he put out has been garbage. He's still at the helm, I'm not expecting much changes.

I think most people interested in the game would much rather hear people working on the game discuss the plans they have for it rather then getting a public apology from Rammer.

What a waste of time.

I guess we can already tell how objective your upcoming "review" will be.

He does work on the game lmao, everything goes through him, do you not realize that?

And literally by far the mass opinion is the game has been ass for years, so yea my review early on will be ass until they actually put out a good game.

Are you just a fan boy or something?

Be a Pro- Fix it. It's been the same stripped down unplayable mess since you went to next gen, for the love of God give us the option to play a full season or a full career in the CHL again, who the hell debuts in junior hockey at 19 in the Memorial Cup and actually gets drafted, I honestly can't think of a single time this happend.

Why do the goalies have force fields or invisible safety bubbles around them?

Why is there still discontinued equipment player and goalie alike from 15-17 years ago still in the game? Does anyone use KOHO, Rebook, or Warrior, CCM goalie gear anymore?

Why am I able to legit injure almost an entire teams roster in a game and nobody do a damn thing about it the next time I play them? Yeah I might have got bored cracked hitting and injuries and aggressivness to 100 just to see what would happen.

Why is the play by play guy f***ing terrible? Who is this f***ing clown and why is he still brought back? Everything that comes out of his mouth aggravates the piss out of me.

Why does half the leauge not have full call names from the PA announcer? Seriously half of every roster the PA guy just gives their jersey number.

Can we finally get a full first and last name generator for CAPS and players like in MLB The Show when the pbp/arena PA guy will be able to say full names?

I did not realize Mike Inglehardt was aboard, he oversaw the Hitz series which was incredible.

Them acknowledging GM connected and that NHL 23 wasn’t good, is great.

To be fair I sensed a shift last year and I see it again now, they have not acknowledged the community period, until now.

I have hope, they did deliver roster sharing and they did deliver cross platform.

The most important to me is him acknowledging basically, that they won’t release something that is half ass.

My expectations are very very low. As nice as it'd be for them to make some improvements, I won't bother trying to imagine such a thing happening in this timeline.

It blows my mind that in an age of online gaming, NHL does not have online season/franchise mode.. but, we could make it work on the PC.. NHL2000 had online season mode. I played in an online league, and 23 years later, that thought seems to blow the dev team's minds? lol.. consider the bar the lowest it can be as far as expectations.

If the game is so bad, offer it for free. Don't keep charging money for it. Just a parasitic corporation doing a "this time will be different".

I'm skeptical this isn't just another ploy to save face. It's easy to get lured into thinking "things will be different this time."

If they continue to be transparent with the community then it's a great first step, but there's seemingly an insurmountable amount of work they need to put in to really prove this is a genuine change of pace.
