Well if it is in then EA has no idea how to package the games considering the cases the games come in clearly make it out that EASHL isn't included.
If it's even the final packaging... it's not as if it's a legitimate case of the game shipped. It's a photo of an online picture

Also... apparently GT 5 said 1-2 players on the back of it's box despite having 12 player races... so there's that too

"new individual celebrations, now you can celebrate with you teammates"

.....why would they even do that if you have no actual "teammates" to celebrate with in EASHL?

This crap makes me laugh. There were team celebrations up until NHL 12 or 13. Now they add them back and talk about it like it is a unique feature. Lame.

A large scale retailer is not going to post something that's not final and approved. There's no way around it. There's no team play whatsoever on NHL15 for Xbox One and Playstation 4.

The Plot Has Thickened

According to the last paragraph of this review, EASHL and all other game modes ARE IN for NextGen.

What this tells me, is that nobody really knows what the hell is going on, and anybody saying that they have "sources", is likely lying. We'll find out next week once and for all.

One thing I hoped for when they announced the new puck physics is the puck bouncing out of the net after a shot. At 2:30 mark of the video, that puck would realistically bounce out of the net but seems like they haven't touched that. Other than presentation and graphics change, I don't see this game different at all. With the lack of EASHL on next gen consoles, this game isn't worth spending $60 on. Seems like I'll be spending another year without EA NHL.

A couple skepticisms I have of the trailer:

The commentary did not live up to my expectations, a lot of that commentary will get stale quickly I think.

The goal horns are incredibly loud.

Other than that I loved it.

Yeah the commentary is better, but I wasn't very impressed with it. I think they are making the goal horns louder than they will be in these videos just to show them off.

still no team cellys? I mean how hard is that to code? freakin NHL 2k7 or whatever it was had team cellys, and EA is acting like it's a big deal two guys can celebrate together.

Jeez, are those jerseys or capes?

Still the same terrible animations too.

Kind of how I feel, just doesn't look even remotely realistic. Deking is just ridiculous.

When you play/watch FIFA, MLB the Show, or NBA 2k, they all look like fairly realistic representations of the actual sport. NHL just doesn't to me.

No chance I'm buying this game. I guarantee they haven't improved Be a GM or Be a Pro at all either.

The thing I noticed about the commentary was the lack of last names, the only ones I heard were Kane, Sharp, and Keith, all Blackhawks. This might just be because of the developmental stage in which they are at, but too many generic phrases a lot of "he," specially when compared to past NHL games.

The jersey's flapping all over are ridiculous, not in any way authentic, you rarely notice a players jersey moving when viewing a game unless watching in slow motion. And as others have said it really looks like the same player models (everyone appears the same size), animations, etc. The only thing that looks good at this point is the game intro. To think I was going to buy a PS4 for this game, oh well just have to convince myself I need on to play FIFA.

After having watched the two gameplay videos, the commentating disappointed me a little bit. However there are two goals that really did impress me (they looked very realistic) :

- The Washington Capitals goal in the first video with less than a second remaining in the 1st period.
- The Florida Panthers goal in the second video was pretty awesome.

I find the goalies haven't changed at all. They look way too robotic. And some of the hits seemed unnatural.

Looks like this game could be a nice upgrade from NHL 13.

Bad player? I mainly play vs and I;m pretty sure I would stomp you.
He's right, vs is really populated by bad players.
I'd say there are probably less than 500 good vs players on the 360, from a pretty damn big pool of vs players

And no, before you go there, you wouldn't stomp me.
(I was somewhere in the top 400 at one point, but haven't played vs in a couple months)

It's indisputable that there are more good 6v6 players than vs players.
I feel like there isn't anybody in vs that I feel like I couldn't beat, while in 6's there are a decent number of guys significantly better than me.

The jerseys look awful. Also is it just me or a lot of the momentum/explosivness from the skating has been toned down?

I've now concluded that EASHL will not be called EASHL anymore in NHL 15 next-gen, but will receive a new name and likely very minor upgrades. EASHL will remain in NHL 15 on old-gen unchanged.

This makes sense based on what we've heard so far, and EA gets to make their big announcement next week. People are feeding right into it.

It's weird. It's like they're gearing up for a big announcement (media silence until the last second) but I haven't seen a single teaser or excitement builder of any sort related to such an announcement.
