I wouldn't count GMC out just yet. I'd say EASHL is all but out, and I don't like defending EA here but, there is still a chance you see them lower the amount of people that can be in a league to 30. Because let's be honest, I don't think there are any leagues that have multiple people on teams out there.

I am now debating on whether to get the game or not. I preordered it awhile back on amazon and used up a $25 amazon coupon on it. I am now thinking i should just cancel it and use that coupon on Destiny.

Ya GMC could very well still be in it which would take away from some of the pain.

Looks like either no purchase or NHL 15 on 360 as of now.

Why the **** would EA remove a game mode from the next gen game. Next gen games are suppose to be taking a step forward, not a step back. No wonder EA won the worst company of the year for two years straight.

EA is a garbage company. I would stop playing their games, but they have a strong grip on the games i do like.

360 and PS3 players will probably see the return of Thorne and Clement. When NHL made the jump from the PS2/XBOX/Gamecube to PS3/360, the previous generation kept Hughson and Simpson.

I forgot where I saw it but it was mentioned awhile ago that the previous gen would only get an announcer upgrade and not the full nbc package

The game looks worse than last year. Jerseys look like they're made of jello.

Main reason I own a console is hockey. Debating buying a PS4... Not buying a PS4 if EASHL is not included in NHL 15.

As for commentary, I usually turn that off before the end of day 1.

Doc sounds pretty bad...there's none of the fast talking excitement. Also, majorly disappointed at the lack of "SCARRRSSSS!"
And those jerseys are terribad.
Watched it again, the commentary really takes you out of the game...it's a lot worse than thorne's. Like when the ottawa player dekes through everyone at 2:40 to score, and doc's commenting on a pokecheck as the player's sliding the puck into the net. It sounds nothing like how doc actually calls the game.

And then it will come back with little to no improvements at all

You are aware that you can keep a player card and play with him for an infinite number of games as long as you have contract cards. Even those aren't that expensive if you know how to shop the market (even playing games you still make enough to get those cards).

Besides, every year there has been a glitch where you don't even need them.

Guess I am still going off of biased first impressions then. Seemed like it is more tedious an effort than is worthwhile to manage individual cards for individual players etc. I prefer the GM style modes for controlling a team. Obviously there are different opinions, or HUT would never have been created!

But I still had all of my pucks and free packs from NHL 14 at the end only to find out there is a limit on how many cards you can have, and can't sell back the free ones for more coins! (Pity, right?)

I just have fingers crossed the bring one of EASHL or GMC to XBox One.
