Doc sounds really muted, especially for the goals. It's about 2 levels down from his reactions in a standard game.

Other than the commentary, the gameplay looks like a step in the right direction. It looked smooth and I really like the new dekes and strafing. It's the little things that count. Hopefully the hitting and amount of dekes were exaggerated for the sake of the video.

Honestly, they had the same problem with Thorne, though. You never got anything like the level he could put out at a game.

Looks absolutely amazing. I don't care if EASHL is in the game or not, this is a day 1 buy for me.

Doc is all about emotion of the moment. It's really hard to recreate his emotion with pre recorded one liners. Overall it's still good and we'll all get used to it and like it until it becomes old and want something new.

I hope in future editions you can edit a guy's contract. I realized when I was trying to update NHL 14's rosters to the current rosters that salaries are set, which screws you over if you're trying to bring a guy like B. Richards to Chicago. In the roster editing mode you should be able to set the guy's salary and for how long.

I think it looks great besides the jerseys and commentary. That's something i can live with though. Now we just wait to see if EASHL and GM Connected are in lol.

Jersey's are weird. Also, lots of players seem to use the stick handling of the puck to keep it. Seems to be OP.

The jersey rippling looks great in gameplay, but its overdone in the cutscenes, too much wind in the sail.

I thought eddie and Ray sounded great. I thought Doc sounded great when introducing the goaltenders between the Col and Min game. I agree Doc sounds bad/awkward. Some of that might be because they lumped 3 different games into one video instead of 1 game 1 video

The jersey flow is what I would picture pre RBK edge jersey flow to look like. If they tone it down and make it a bit tighter to the body it would be accurate imo.

You mean mostly AI defenders who stand around doing nothing or the players switching to them too late? Or how most of the goals involve deking through sticks/skates?

I don't see any sign of progress from '13. The dynamic cloth ******** looks terrible on Crawford. The skating if anything looks more unnatural. The first goal in the second video is a stupid joke. There's all kinds of dangling and players falling down everywhere unable to get up and nothing resembling real hockey. I mean really watch Sharp with the puck at around 2:10 of the second video and tell me that's a reasonable representation of hockey.

Looks like they're playing outdoors with the lighting and shading of the arena/players...

Looks improved for the most part though.

It *looks* better than '13, but half of the gameplay features players deking every time they get the puck and bodies flying everywhere. So it looks good, but it seems very arcadey.

I certainly hope that was played on Rookie. The defense was just standing around doing nothing.

Skating looked good, though.

If they improved the GM mode or Life the Life mode, that would be all I need to hear.

Look at both of the pictures on here. 4th one in on both. 360 mentions EASHL but Xbox One mentions none of it.

Wow nice game I think its the best ''virtual'' hockey I ever saw...thats nice...a little weird Doc but overall its 100 time better than in any other nhl before.

Finally the skating look smooth and the physics awesome. I agree the jersey is a little overdone but just a little.

If all game mode are include, great job EA. 1 day buy.
