If you’re going to base an entire franchise on creating highlights, it becomes vitally important that you look your best while doing it. Since the best uniforms in the history of sports were used by an NFL team, this means we couldn’t risk losing out on the Houston Oilers Powder Blues.

@CanadianFlyer88 I picked a what, not a who. ;)
Definitely wasn't expecting that. :laugh:

Look at those absolute beauties. Imagine giving those up, for either Tennessee or the Texans. Bitch please. Great pick.

I am going to grab another guy who I believe may be the GOAT at his position, but is definitely right there in the conversation.

  • Played in more games (296) than any positional player at time of his retirement
  • Played every position on the O-Line to world-class level
  • Named to 14 consecutive Pro Bowls (9 at guard, 5 at center)
  • All-Pro NINE TIMES and All-AFC 12 times
  • All-Decade Team of the 1990s

I was dead serious when I said I am going to protect my quarterback, and this goes a long, long way toward that.

@Beef Invictus

This rules. He rules. Those jerseys rule.

Trust no one who tells you one of those Pittsburgh Centers was better. That's the guy.

If your entire franchise is based on finding athletic freaks of nature, you did it wrong if you don't have the best WR prospect ever, Calvin Johnson.

@ajgoal Another pair if you please, sir.
He and [REDACTED] are my 2 favorite football players I've watched play. Megatron was an absolute animal.

I don't have the numbers in front of me but all those catches and yards with no one else around him...I have to assume he played at an all time great level for his short career. I need to go to bed but it would interesting to try to compare his numbers to legends of the same age

PFF had some interesting micro stats on him. In all of their tracking, I believe the top players in Fade Routes near the Goal Line converted them for TDs 25-30% of the time. Then there was Calvin Johnson at 50%. He’s the only player they’ve ever tracked that made calling that play a reasonable idea.

UNIFORM PICK ALERT.

@Chuck Downie

Finally someone who knows what’s important. You’re killing it. You even picked the right player.

The Oilers powder blues were my top choice but some asshole jumped on them early. :laugh:. Creamsicles are a close second though, so no harm done.
