Hopefully more than half the players on the poll won't even be Habs to start next season.
Before this year, Petry was my choice, now, I don't know. When the hardcore fans are not able to identify the core leaders, maybe that's cause there is no one that fits the job.
Hahaha!Exactly what I came to write.
Kind of creeping me out GB…
Petry is best suited for 2nd pairing, quietly riding the coattails of a 1st pairing Dman like he did w Weber.Hahaha!
I really hope Petry get his game together, when he's on, the team is winning. That a definition of leadership...
Can you add Petry to the poll? His name has been mentioned in the thread.Hopefully more than half the players on the poll won't even be Habs to start next season.
I tend to think that it's more a perfect match with Edmundson than shelter minutes. Also, Price play around the net was a big factor in our defensemen success.Petry is best suited for 2nd pairing, quietly riding the coattails of a 1st pairing Dman like he did w Weber.
As others have said, the list isn't inspiring. I'll go the easy route. If Gally is still here, he'll be our next captain imo.
Yeah I was thinking Petry because I want Gally's contract off the books.
But best case scenario is for both to be moved in the short term.
Making either captain could only increase their trade value.
I hope its Anderson, only because I'm going to hate the new GM as much as the old one if they trade him for another soft small player. Please don't trade Anderson, build around players like this, give him and A or C
Sure why not, poll edited even if I don’t see any leadership in Petry. Can you add Petry to the poll? His name has been mentioned in the thread.
People voting the same petry that has been blaming everyone else for the teams trouble ? He comes off as a man child and definitely not a captain, he clearly wants nothing to do with a rebuild.
Give it to Lord Byron till his contract is over and then Suzuki.
Just wait a season or two for Suzuki to mature some more and then give it to him.
If he is had, clear. We all know it's going to be Patrice Bergeron. Don't let Bruins fans fool you
