f***ing Penguins win in OT. TBL, zero help. Oh well, at least Buffalo and Florida lost plus Det lost in OT. Seems like Ottawa is now back in this thing. Crazy ride. We just need to take care of our business. Next up Det on Saturday matinee.

Florida and Buffalo losing to me are the big games. I just sort of assume Penguins will get one of those spots

And f the rags, they seem to be losing every game that would benefit us.
 
Ottawa now sneaking into the picture. Going to be quite a stretch run here. Lots of teams still in it. Win a couple games and you are in the thick of it. Lose a couple and you look out of it.

I gotta say, Ottawa and us look like the 2 best teams in the picture right now. Pitt quietly steadying the boat.

The Florida play by play guy was carrying on about the schedule, home games, opponents not in the playoffs, etc

Randy Moeller, their color guy and truth be told the man I stole the nickname "Handsome Lane" from, snaps back matter of factly " just win YOUR games and you don't have to worry about it"

Hope we just keep chopping wood, take care of our business and get a little help as we go. Time will tell brother but as you say, gonna be a fun ride with lots of ups and downs for all in the fracas

First time seeing Beau since the trade. Only one game, but he was invisible. Had one good scoring chance. Turned the puck over a lot, soft on the puck. Looked like a 3rd wheel on the Pettersson-Kuzmenko line.

The goals I've seen him score have mostly been broken plays honestly. Still, I wish the kid luck but I'm certainly not lamenting his departure...and I even own his jersey.

He's leeching off of a talented forward group. That said, he's a decent complementary piece for VCR, and perhaps that's what they need/his true upside as a forward. Though I firmly believe his development was stunted b/c he was brought up too quickly. A year in the AHL would've done him well. I never got the sense he established a secure base of confidence at the NHL level; that's usually a function of being brought in too soon.

Got some good help on the scoreboard last night. Except Tampa bay did us no favors.

Last night after the rags gave up 5 goals, Gallant was asked what when wrong, he said "you got to be able to put the puck in the net" lol wtf. Other words they lost cause they couldnt score 6?

Rags play 3 games with the Pens soon. Gotta think the Pens believe they can grab that #3 spot in the Metro. Gonna be a fun next 18 games. Buckle in fellas
