Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Our defense has been pretty bad this year. Elite goaltending night in night out just masks the deficiencies.

There were a lot of defensive deficiencies on display tonight. Even Dallas almost collapsed at the end and Arizona might have been one of the better teams, which is downright sad.

I thought tonight our team D was really good. Granted the Flyers looked like crap for the most part but I liked the bottled up neutral zone tonight

I don't know if it's that the defenses are bad. All the play seems sloppy and disjointed. I'm starting to think the players are too big and too fast for an ice surface sized for 1920s hockey. There's no time or space, so the game is becoming a contest of who can capitalize on mistakes the best.

I don't get why we are playing so many games this week when other teams have so many games in hand compared to us? At this rate, we'll finish the season in 5 weeks.

Yeah I don’t understand the league scheduling. There’s no reason why we’ve played the most games in the league by one or two games.

It’s strange, that’s true. But hopefully it will help the Islanders down the stretch with other teams having to play a more compressed schedule.
Just looking for positives.

Mavericks Fan For Life?
I was a Mavs fan back when they had the triple J's in Jim Jackson, Jamal Mashburn and Jason Kidd. Mostly because I like the Kentucky Wildcats and Monster Mash was a beast.
But that was when the NBA was actually fun and interesting. When stars wanted to beat other stars, not just hang out with them in clubs.

They lost me when Sprewell choked Carlesimo and not too long afterwards, Knicks fans (I used to be one) welcomed him back. Later Sprewell turned down a $21M contract because “I have a family to feed.”
