This read to me as one of those "we're outhitting them 2:1" stats. Put a smile on my face and then realized it's because we don't have the puck. This is partly because we can't get an FA to ever come here unless we trade for them first. We all know this team would be miles better if that number was less than 15 and those players were replaced with better FAs. Also doesn't help that the list of teams in that tweet are all terrible.

Saw your edit. Yeah it’s Ryan Ellis who may have an inoperable condition.

It's a double sided thing for sure. Either we can't attract better players so we're stuck with what we have or the drafting is so good we don't need other players.

Now that the Coyotes played their first home game at the 5,000-seat Mullet Arena I was wondering what ticket prices on the secondary market looked like for the Isles visit there in December. Prices were lower than I expected. Right now it seems like $150 each gets it done. Standing room at $139 each. Interesting.

It's pretty weird to see NYI being Top-5 league-wide in BOTH goals against per game AND goals forward per game.

Columbus won the offseason signing award. Same old team during the regular season.

Always get a chuckle every offseason when this fan base goes nuts about how every other team ‘improved’ but in the end still have significant flaws that keep them from competing over a full season.

I won’t pronounce any team in or out after 9 games. Joonas Korpisalo is rehabbing now. He is good enough to steal wins for CBJ.
