Sucks to see a potential Selke guy having his career slip away because of injuries.

I remember wanting him over Strome that draft year and was pissed they passed on him.

Not that I have sympathy for the flyers but on a personal note have to feel bad for the guy. That sucks.


Edit: Just saw in Pagnotta that it is a herniated disk. I have been dealing with two of them since last fall so know what that feels like. It has severely screwed up my life (Now I also need to go to PT for my knee as well, I am a mess lol .) so I feel for the guy. I am getting my epidural finally on Wednesday , surgery would be next if that doesn't work. I am 55 so at least I had my weekend warrior time for years, have to feel for an athlete who gets impacted during his career.

If the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results, then I am certifiable. Still come here every day, hoping there will be some good Isles news. Assume I am not alone in this boat. Maybe next offseason, I won't come at all and see if we land a star UFA.

How the heck did the Rangers get a first for a player that requested a trade in Lundqvist? Nice job by the Dallas gm.Talk about an overpay…sheesh!

Yeah the Flyers are in the division, but have been a non-factor since the Pronger/Richards/Carter/Gagne era so I do feel bad for Couturier, especially since the injury is so shitty and he is a complete player that I would take on NYI any day of the week (when healthy). At the end of the day, these players are humans and don’t control where they are drafted. Sucks man.

Makes me feel a bit better about the Romanov deal, not that I needed to feel good about it. But I have more confidence in Romanov being an NHLer based off his body of work than Lundkvist’s.
