Yes, but they made the right move to sign their two young top-6 forwards to long term deals, and they're committed to Schenn, they've got Buchnevich for another two years (after this year), and Saad - who is tradeable. So long as their aging defense holds up, I think they'll be able to reform the rest of the forward group around that core. Just juding from their roster cosntruction, It seems pretty likely one of Tarasenko or O'Reilly will go elsewhere. Looks like they have plenty lot of bottom-6 level talent within their system, to fill in with low-AAV contracts. The Buchnevich acquisition really extended their window.

Didn't see the pitch, but I heard he pulled up and looked around to see if there was anyone else he could give the ball to before being forced to throw it to the catcher as slow and accurate as possible.
