And Devils losing again. Maybe they have hit the wall?

Although I am staying positive , that it will make it more pleasurable to have the Ranger fans think they are going to win the cup, only to lose to the Devils in round 1.

Note: and the Devils score to make it 2-1 vs the Lightning

Not many will pick either of these two vs the Leafs and Rangers in round 1 but I will be waving my pom poms for both(ok I dont have pom poms but you get my drift).

And the Devils tie it.

OK so when I started that last post, the Devils were down 2-0. 4 minutes later they were tied. 2-2. Now they are up 3-2.. So assuming they have not hit a wall. Had not seen them recently.

You just have to love how Dirty Jersey blows a 2-0 third period lead to the Panthers 2 nights ago when we could have been helped and one night later they steamroll Tampa. Just yet another reason for me to hate that team. I honestly still hope we get them in the first round, I think with a full lineup we will give their inexperienced soft smurfs fits for a whole playoff series.

Buffalo doesn't have what it takes this year, but they should be a playoff team next year. They've got so may players who are ready to grow. Their D, and their G are simply not ready for prime time. But I think they've got the wherewithal over the offseason to make that right.

yes, that Florida game stung us. We may slow them down in Round 1, gotta stay out of the box obviously and shut down the center of the Ice and yes need the best from Sorokin and some timely goals. Too much to ask? Anyway, plenty of hockey so I won't knuckle snap were getting in yet

Yes, they had a dose of playoff hockey when it started with the Hudson Fashingate game. Buffalo did wilt under the pressure. I do suspect they will be hungry next year.

Huge out of town scoreboard night. With both Pitt and Florida going up against lesser opponents, I’ll consider tonight a win if EITHER team comes out of tonight with fewer than 2 points.

Similar things can be said about the playoffs regarding Ottawa next year. They have Josh Norris coming back too. Detroit less certain but who knows??

With Pittsburgh and Washington on the downturn (maybe TB too), I see a lot of movement in the conference hierarchy upcoming.

Didn't realize Bobrovsky is playing his 13th in a row with Knight in substance abuse.; Florida playing first of 7 in 11 days .. would think he has to wear down or they need to give Lyon some games, so maybe that could be one thing to be optimistic about as they have been red hot.

Ottawa very much like the isles. Can’t bury grade A chances.

The amount of games in a short period of time is really all we have on Florida. There’s schedule is pretty good coming home. I’m expecting them to make it. After the SJ game is was looking at the schedule/standings thinking there is a possibility that on a Wed morning isles could actually be out of a playoff position. Ottawa might be helping us out here though against Pit.
