Love the potential road to the Cup through our rivals and the best in the East.

Kaner is on the spot big time. Health is an issue, as are pain-meds side-effects.

Everybody said it, physicality will make or break the series. Absolutely key.

Of course the schedule is f***ing me pretty good. Saturday 22nd, puck drop is 12 hours after my shift ends, that's gonna be rough, lol.

Phone battery at 55%. It's a sign.
So is mine! Our phones' periods are in sync.

On another note, I have seen all the pessimism here and all the boastful confidence and outright arrogance of the Devils fans (aka just stay out of the box and this is a short series, Rangers don't even lick our boots) and the combination of the two just pisses me off.

So I am goinh to say this: Rangers are going to sweep the Devils. Rangers are the better team in this series if they play up to their ability, which they rarely have in the regular season but have shown that they can. And I am 100% sure they will show up for this series. They learned what it takes to get things done last year and they are going to go for it this year. The online team capable of stopping us from reaching the final is Boston, not some New Jersey scrubs.

Also, every single New Jersey fan calling Trouba's hits diety elbows needs a BILATERAL emergency eye surgery yesterday. Just f*** that franchise and that fanbase.

They can say whatever they want. #4 still hangs from their rafters. Until they petition their team to remove it, they are hypocrites.

The Trouba stuff is getting out of hand. Wishing injury on him or him injuring their players is over the top.

Seriously, this is a game, supposed to be having fun. Emotions are high and we want the team to win, I get it.

I just think these playoff games brings out the worst in some fans. I’ve witnessed it in person also, attending playoff games in the past.

Both really is over the top. But I have to say that while the discussion here is largely civil and for the most part respectful (outside of my outburst above), the Debbies thread is just a cesspool of digital vomit. I really see a stark difference between the two. Absolutely abhorrent. If I were a religious zealot (and not a staunch atheist that I am), I would have said their worshipping a satanistic cult of a hockey team really invited Satan into their souls, LOL. Certainly looks like it.

Also, I have yet to see a Trouba hit to the head that is illegal. This whole reputation of a dirty hitter is preposterous. Either ban hitting altogether, or keep your head up. Trouba's skates leaving the ground on a hit. I saw him elbow a guy once... to his lower back.

I just want him to ruin their weekend. Is that too much to ask?

Nothing to see here. We got a taste last year and Drury has assembled a team capable of winning 16 games. Will they? Remains to be seen, but this isn't a group that is a piece away - they're there.

Devils are good and are on their way to greatness, but it isn't this year. The Rangers are able to and have shown the ability to better when it counts.

Boys in 5.

Uh yes Hughes is fragile. He’s been hurt a few times now by routine hits. And I guess you forgot Hamilton getting exposed against Washington a few years ago when he kept getting afraid to play pucks because he didn’t want to get hit to make a play. It eventually led to a goal against so maybe your memory is 0 for 2

Somebody needs to play this in the Rangers' film room Monday. For Kreider, this should be his game.

As a sports fan, I literally want nothing more than for the Rangers to win the Cup. Beating the Devils and potentially Islanders on the way there, just like in 94, would be incredible. Also, is it wrong that I hope LA gets to the Final so we can sweep their ass and get revenge for 2014?

My ideal scenario would be somehow beating NJD, NYI, TBL, and LAK on route to a Cup.
