never saw a team up and quit so easily. disgusting.

This coach doesnt even call a time out. he doesn't even settle them down?
One extreme to the other . we go from lunatic to indifference...

PP has been this teams downfall for the last 10 years. Some of our past teams could have done much better if they could just convert a couple more PP's in to goals during the playoffs. Since the regular season PP percentage was a big improvement over years past, i thought we would be in good shape come playoff time.......guess not, Same ole' same ole' for the NYR's
 
The last time we won a playoff series in less than 7 games was in 2008 against the Devs. Every other time since, Ottawa, Washington, and then Washington again last year, we've needed 7 games to win. Just ****ing aggravating.

I remember that game 5 vs NJ, the Rangers tried to do everything they could to blow the huge lead, including giving the Devils a penalty shot.

Funny thing, I've noticed that in 5/6 games we've played, the result that the Mets had, was directly opposite to what the Rangers had. I.e. If they won, we lost. The game that we both won was when we started before them and won before they did.

Coincidental... or whatever... but i'm rooting heavily against them tomorrow.

Not good. Rangers give Philly confidence that they can not only win, but smoke us, chase Lundqvist and also gives Mason a ton of confidence.


Not feelin good AT ALL about tomorrow night.

Multiple people on another board said Simmonds punched him in the back of the head but I did not see it. If it was just talking why did Simmonds get a 10 minute penalty?

If it takes the Mets losing for the Rangers to win, well then so be it.

Zucc scored and immediately after Simmonds punched him in the head.

I'm almost positive the moment they were talking about was not Simmonds. Might've been hall. Zucc got shoved while he was on the ground after batting the puck out of the air with his glove. The refs whistled it dead because of a "hand pass". Zucc got up and shoved the guy who shoved him. And I think Adam Hall punched him in the back of the head. Then Zucc got the penalty.

Zucc scored maybe 5 minutes later, and him and Simmonds began shoving each other. No one got good punches in, the refs were there nearly immediately.

McDonagh the most disturbing story. If he isn't playing injured...er, I don't want to think about it.

I don't remember seeing that to end the game. I saw them coming together, with Zucc getting in a headlock, and then the ref had take a helmetless Simmonds away.
