Talbot though...He has been stellar all season, if we go down early tomorrow do we put him in?

If they go down early due to questionable goals, that albatross of a Lundqvist contract looks worse and worse.

If Mason outplays him again, you really have to question it.

The Hank 0-11 stat is horrific. People advocating that it's just a reflection of the team, and not one individual, are missing a key component. Hank is part of the team - he's playing this poorly too.

3.27 GA in those 11 games. He's barely giving us a chance to win. Mason finally stood on his head. For all the talk from announcers since he's been playing about him playing great, tonight was the first game that he played unbelievably well. He came to play, Henrik did not.

Henrik's a great goalie, but i'm tired of everyone acting like he's immune to criticism. He was simply outplayed by a goalie far worse than him. And that is simply unacceptable when considering their salaries.

Luckily, in elimination games, he tends to have the reverse success. Hopefully, he finds that tomorrow rather than what he had tonight.

As for other things I saw, McDonagh is having a brutal series. His heart may be in it, but his head clearly is not. His positioning and decision making has been detrimental. Girardi had his first bad playoff game in a long time. He really **** the bed there a couple of times. Stralman had a ****ing awful game too. I'd suggest even putting in Diaz there, to not only have a fresher, faster player with better offensive instincts... but to help this ailing powerplay too. It has looked miserable these last 4 games. Miserable.

Speaking of the powerplay, Richards should be banned from being allowed to enter the ice during those 2 minutes. Some of the worst decision making i've seen in a long time. And he simply does not have the speed to enter the zone and make a play anymore. Brassard and Pouloit have been underwhelming. Pouloit makes some really idiotic plays. Brassard just hasn't been playing to his playing standard that he showed us he could reach during the regular season.

Finally, the obvious, Rick Nash. I'm not gonna blame him. I think Vigneault put him in a position to fail on the line he is on right now. He's not a natural LW and he's a player that succeeds with other linemates who attack the net and open up a lot of ice for him. St. Louis and Stepan don't do that. Nash has played well for having to be put in this situation. Kept many plays alive, made some great passes, but he's not being optimized, and that is entirely on AV.

Stay disciplined tomorrow. Play smart. Play passionate. Send them home and make them hurt where it counts... not random fights with Adam Hall and Wayne Simmonds. Believe.

Pittsburgh's even more of a headcase team than we are. I really like that matchup.

Boston, I mean yeah, but it was always going to be that way.

Exactly, Pitt is precisely the team you want to push the advantage on, not leisurely play for a game 7 only to find yourself golfing after 6.

Surprised there's not more posts about the refs. Thought philly could have been called for 3 or 4 obvious penalties in the first 5 minutes but then they turned around and called Pouliot when Giroux looked like he got taken down from a sniper in the rafters.

That aside, this is the first time I've ever actually shut a playoff game off. Awful. Get Richards of the PP and Mcdonagh running it at the top again please.

Henrik Lundqvist will never win a Stanley cup unless he is somehow let out of his contract and signs with a Chicago type of team for a much lower amount of money. 8.5m for a goalie who can't steal games when it counts is an absolute waste. 1st goal was more than stoppable. If he was relaxed and had his pad extended he would have stopped it. 3rd goal was laughable. Does he have a shutout this series? 8.5m. Remember that next time we have the chance to acquire a top C but don't have space.

Where's Kreider when you need him.

Oh. don't even get me started on Mr. 1 goal 7.8m superstar winger

i thought the flyers were getting away with alot early on as well, but figured that would be the case this game. stupid play by ahole Pouliout started the downfall.

Girardi was absolutely horrendous tonight. worst performance as a ranger.
choke artist. steady as the come. big game choker.

one of the worst playoff games i've ever had the displeasure of viewing, especially against this trash team.

but, i remind myself this rangers team isn't that good to begin with either.

We have no big game players, and headcase in net.

i hope they can put this loss behind them quick...

oh. God. No!

Why?

Doesn't hesitate to shoot the puck and if he isn't scoring, at least he's drilling people into the boards.

Plus, he's a star player. Would leave his feet when delivering a hit without any incident from the refs.

Richards and St. Louis were on the 2004 Lightning team that alternated wins with the Flyers in the playoffs that year. Those two have seen a see-saw series before. I hope the trend continues and the Rangers win Game 7.

I used to read a crazy amount into these ridiculous facts. The only fact that matters is that this is a new season with a destiny yet to be written.

Talk about selfish me-first type players. He'd float along with the other floaters and then find his way to Brighton Beach.

That bunch in Washington has done nothing with all that talent. And he's as much a reason for it as anything else.

I remember I was called out for saying that our PP would be our downfall.

Well, we're at 10.7%.

Anyone want to take a guess how the Flyers are faring?

I did not see it but I read the dirt bag punched Zooks in the back of his head.

No that was someone else in a different scrum... and Zucc got the penalty for it too lol.

They just mouthed off, pretty standard.

Yeah, I'm not saying they're destined to win or anything but maybe Richards and St. Louis can draw on their experience having gone through a series similar to this one. And it's not like recent Rangers teams haven't won game sevens before. At least they don't have much time to think about how poorly they played. Right back at it tomorrow night.

typical Ranger game......so glad I have a DVR and didnt waste 3 hours of my night watching this crap. Fast forward through all the garbage and didnt even watch the 3rd.

Thank you Mr Dolan !!!! ( and for that i mean thanks for cablevision and the DVR box that saved me 2 hours of my life ).

If they actually make it to the second round, they aint beating Pittsburgh anyway.

We need that kind of player because this pass-happy **** isn't cutting it.
