On the last goal? Not leave the zone to join the rush when he wasn't certain that the puck was leaving the zone. He abandoned the back check.

What you state is a plausible argument, however, Girardi had another option. He chose to pass the puck forward when he was unstable and falling. That cannot really be ignored, either.

Rangers won every game 1 and now everyone is panicking because they lost. If they lose on Saturday, OK, feel free. Otherwise, stop with the overreacting.

even then, you're not supposed to win on the road. Just need 1 of 4 and take care of business at home. But that split sure would go a long way

Can someone explain to me how you blame a player for slipping? Have you never played or watched before? Its part of sports. Athletes slip.

Were 2 minutes away from getting out of the first up 2-0, damn it.

We were a mere heads up play from being up 3-0 to end the first. Rangers screwed up too many prime scoring chances. Chicago and Anaheim would of scored more than two goals given the same chances but it is what it is.

To interrupt all the sadness for a bit:

Huge huge huge huge huge game from the PK units (that includes Nash, G and Staal)

Was it a horrible giveaway, **** yeah. But with Diaz as a liability, having to go to 5 D for the 3rd, double shifting McD, the gas tank was low. Not sure about the stats but Girardi was one of our most physical players out there tonight.

Moore will be back next game, all pairings stabilize and we go out there and split this series. Dan will score a big goal for us sometime in this series, don't write this guy off.

we surprised them with our speed. they were able to handle it. then they adjusted and changed their game.

then we adjusted to that by showing them our pathetic pp and putting on a stevie wonder shooting clinic with a side order of much sloppiness 2nd half of the game and numerous missed chances.

please tell me again what rick nash really does on this team? hes seriously like a frozen sloth dipped in molasses. dude is just slow motion all the time.

oh well. we had them down 2-0 then we went full doofus. wiining that game would have been huge.

game 2 is a chance for redemption.
That made me laugh out loud.

Great officiating. if we can complain when it is atrocious, we should also acknowledge when it is handled very well.

I think we will be fine. Their top forwards did absolutely nothing. Gaborik and Kopitar invisible. Brown/Richards invisible. Carter did a little bit with that one wraparound chance but other than that not much. We obviously won't control play throughout this like we did in the first and they won't like they did in the third. Gotta stop with the stupid turnovers and Lundqvist has to be better (he was good, not great tonight).

king are always at the ready with their sticks on the ice. they are always ready for the 2nd and 3rd chances. rangers over pass and miss connections nonstop, becomes even more amplified when they aren't getting any shots. the reliance on richards and mcd to blast every other puck from the point on the PP just isn't going to work.

This wasn't the offensive kings that have been all playoffs.. All role players for them.. Gaborik no show. Kopitar no show carter had one chance. This is how the kings beat you though.

To be fair, the Rangers usually do an excellent job at shutting down star players.

even then, you're not supposed to win on the road. Just need 1 of 4 and take care of business at home. But that split sure would go a long way

But that's not the case with this Rangers team.

This year's Rangers team is a fantastic road team and a mediocre home team. The ******** "it's not over until you lose at home" argument is just that.

We're a road team this year. We need to win on the road. Especially when we have a 2-0 ****ing lead.

Kings capitalize on their scoring chances, Rangers don't. It's that simple. If the Rangers converted on their quality chances the way the Kings did, we could've won by 2 goals. The Rangers are just awful shooters.

Sad but true.

You know what though?

Even when they HAD quality chances...THEY DON'T ****ING SHOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!
