You know who I'm most sick of missing the net? It isn't Nash and it isn't St Louis and it isn't Richards. It's Zuccarello. Guy gets more prime shots off than anyone else on the team and he's constantly missing.

After a promising start, Zucc has been MIA lately.

You guys let the kings off the ropes. Then they took over. I thought McD and Stralman played great.

**** it. New defense pairings.

Mcd-Stralman - the only 2 defensemen actually worth a damn tonight.

Moore-Klein - Better than the third combination.

Staal-Girardi - Instead of poisoning 2 defense pairings with them, we can just have one poisonous defense pairing instead.

I hate rangers fans we win as a team and
Lose as team how can we blame one player for a loss was he the only one on the ice

The good news is that they can hang with the Kings. Win Game 2 and the series changes.

The Kings were dominant for 15 mins of the 3rd period, and even then they weren't generating quality chances.

Oh well. Can't win em all.

They outshot us 20-3 in the third. I don't call that hanging with. I'm getting very worried now.

Stopped playing after 30 minutes. Terrible giveaway, obviously.

Hate blowing 2-0 leads, especially in the playoffs. And the Rangers stopped moving their feet.

We can beat LA. Get it back Saturday.

3 goals scored on 3 turnovers in their own end. we had this game.

some positives. we aren't intimidated. we can play with these guys. if we don't turn it over we can win. we got a lot of breakaways. 3 more days. let's tie it up.

This one was so winnable. That's what is killing me now. We got a good game from Henrik, our depth guys like Pouliot and Hagelin chipped in, McDonagh and Stralman played well... and we still lost.

I feel bad for Girardi.
The bad ice definitely was a factor.

Hey, what can you say? Get over it Dan and get ready for Game 2. You will come back strong.

enough with coddling nash and richards. light a fire under them av. take richards off the pp, who gives a **** about bruising his ego, this is the SCF. and start exerting the pressure on nash to perform. ****ing guy has been coddled all playoffs, he looked amazing in the first and started to become a complete moron by the 3rd.

This wasn't the offensive kings that have been all playoffs.. All role players for them.. Gaborik no show. Kopitar no show carter had one chance. This is how the kings beat you though.

Just saw the replay. Had McDonagh flying down the wing.

He hits him there instead of gently serving the puck to a group of three LA skaters like he's trying to tee them up for one timer practice in his backyard, we win game 1.

Yea I saw this McDonagh did absolutely nothing wrong there. He saw the puck coming right to Girardi went went to break up and give him an option to start up an offensive play. Not his fault girardi ****ed it up and coughed up the puck

Send a message in Game 2-Bench Girardi and Nash

Girardi has been awful throughout the playoffs, and lost us this game by himself.

Nash is terrible--All he does is get pushed off the puck and take a bad angle wrist shot.

I guarantee McIlrath and Fasth would perform better than those two bozos.

Shots shots shots shots shots shots
Shots shots shots shots shots
Shots shots shots shots shots

this made me laugh. And it's incredibly true.

What was McDonagh supposed to do on that play? The literally only way he could have helped is if he came in and stole the puck off Girardi's stick..

On the last goal? Not leave the zone to join the rush when he wasn't certain that the puck was leaving the zone. He abandoned the back check.

Girardi, LITERALLY, gave the game away.

I'll blame him all I want.

Kings capitalize on their scoring chances, Rangers don't. It's that simple. If the Rangers converted on their quality chances the way the Kings did, we could've won by 2 goals. The Rangers are just awful shooters.

Honestly, even if we got ourselves a 3 on 0 break, we would have passed it 3 too many times and shot it over the glass and be assessed a delay of game penalty. That's how dumb a game we played tonight after the 1st 15 minutes.
