I'm assuming at least someone else is watching the UW/UM game.

Every time they refer to "J.J.," am I the only one who's mind immediately finishes with "Frankie J.J."?

I like Sainristil a lot. He's been a factor in every game I've watched (since OSU game.)

So many penalties by Washington's OL pretty much the story of the game. Also why isn't Penix going to Odunze like on every play, sheesh.

Penix draft stock falling
It should, he isn't very good. He's just a super-duper senior who should be beating up on younger guys. It would be more of a surprise if he wasn't. Penix and Bo Nix won't ever see meaningful time in the NFL. Overagers who dominate are a thing in all pre draft sports.

Penix's medicals should be pretty slam dunk one way or the other. JJ also like I don't see much.

I wouldn't mind Jim Harbaugh as a possible head coach. Dude is good.
He wants full control and the whole point of having Bob Myers and Rick Spielman on the committee is to find a GM THAT WILL HIRE A COACH

So that off the bat knocks Harbaugh and Belichick off the list.

Don't get me wrong I love Harbaugh I'm a Michigan Fan but he doesn't belong here. I would gladly take his protege Mike MacDonald though.

Bolded is why it really feels like they will not pass on a QB.
It’s also part of what makes the destination attractive to a new GM and coaching staff. You come to DC, you get one of Caleb/Maye (2 of the best prospects in 10 years) to build around, and coach up as you see fit.

Also, the QB class for the 2025 Draft is thought to be very weak. THIS was the year to tank if you needed a QB (not unlike last year’s NHL draft w/ those top 3 centers). Getting this pick in the right year is such a rare opportunity that you can’t just kick the can down the road. We’ve seen great LTs in Samuels and T. Williams waste their careers in DC with mediocre QBs.

They’ll be able to throw enough talent on the OL b/n the draft and FA that a new QB won’t have to get killed like Sam did this year. The Texans did just fine by CJ Stroud. And, even before any additions, there are decent targets to work with in Terry and Dotson. Plus, both Caleb/Maye are mobile and elusive enough to protect themselves when necessary.

Had actually not looked at the 2025 QB draft class so that it looks crappy well it tells the story it needs to.
