Washington shut out of the Pro Bowl for the first time since 1993. Ron drafted one Pro Bowler during his tenure and that was Chase Young who Ron traded before his rookie contract was up. Arguably both the worst coach and worst GM in modern Washington history.

There were a few years when our only pro bowler was Matt Turk. Somehow Ron couldn't even get pro bowler Tress Way to this year's pro bowl. He should probably just retire spend time with his family. The NFL has truly passed him by.

I'm sort of down raiding the Ravens with Hortiz and Macdonald. It has been depressing seeing how good an org. the Ravens have been but major props to them.

Might have some recency bias on not wanting a D Coordinator as a head coach but hell the team is starting from scratch.

I don't mind EB leaving, I wasn't impressed with him this year.

Clean house. HC, OC, GM all out. Total rebuild.
For me EB is a bit tough to evaluate. Inconsistency is my main criticism. He could go through some mini stretches of some great play calling then some inexplicable ones. Can't recall how many throws to the the side of the fields that were easily read and were for losses multiple times in a game. Also deep receiver plays with an offensive line that is a sieve. Not knowing how much oversight RR actually had with EB not initially opposed to him coming back. That said a clean sweep seems to make much more sense.

That would be great. Skins would get a comp 3rd rounder in ‘25. Make it so.

I’m not sure if it’s still the same rule but because he would be a diversity hire, it might be an even higher compensation pick.

If someone hires Ron for a job I believe that would be another comp pick. Don’t hold your breath

He’s been rumored to already be on the short list for two teams….dude is probably getting a HC gig this time. It’s his time.
Yeah, he had one box to check from the coordinator position, play caller, and he has done that. There were definitely times when the offense was operating reasonably well, though the run/pass balance was abysmal. But I agree, I think he’ll get a head coaching gig this offseason.

Baltimore. An aquarium, Johns Hopkins Medical School, and Camden Yards. That's it. Annoying that this quote unquote "city" will win another title.
I still think Flacco and the Browns will pull off an upset

Don’t forget strip clubs and hammerjacks!!!

It I may ask…are you already crowning them champs?

I think their only obstacle are the 49ers and I think they are already deeply entrenched in Purdy's head. I'm pretty convinced they'll win it all.

EBs overall performance here has to be tempered by the utter chaos surrounding his personnel, the horrible OL he inherited, and being asked/told to make a 5th rnd QB with 1 start into a stud, certainly not an automatic or easy task. He performed well at times and Howell showed at times he was going to be a solid QB. But his play calling lacked imagination, and even common sense at times. He abandoned the run far too often. He called deep balls when the OL couldn't protect, far too often. He left Sam out to dry far too often.

I actually think he might be a better HC than play caller. He did instill a sense of urgency and demanded accountability, in ways previous OCs didn't. He set a culture that even RR didn't instill. His offensive design was fine, but the play calling just didn't seem to maximize his roster or conditions. I'm not going to lose any sleep if we reset completely and he walks for a HC position or isn't retained by the new HC. I don't think he's done enough to automatically be in the lead for the Redskins HC job.
