RR backdoor blaming the QBs for his record in DC, but also kind of a self-own wrt his time in Carolina

"I tried nothing and I'm all out of options"
Ron has ridden a lot of goodwill for being a standup dude, and for the way he persevered through his illness. All justifiably so - and in turn, Harris will end his time in DC with class (considering he wasn’t canned in-season).

But, man - some of the stuff he says makes him sound like a delusional schmuck.

Ok I’m officially on the “I’d be absolutely thrilled” bandwagon with either Williams or Maye if we’re lucky enough to lose and nab 2OA. They both have everything you’re looking for with an NFL prospect. I like both a lot, with a very slight edge to Williams.

Get a tackle and a DE in FA. Then use the middle rounds for lots interior OL and speed at LB and RB/WR.

Washington shut out of the Pro Bowl for the first time since 1993. Ron drafted one Pro Bowler during his tenure and that was Chase Young who Ron traded before his rookie contract was up. Arguably both the worst coach and worst GM in modern Washington history.
Wow really…..all these years of terrible teams…at least we had some guys…..the end for RR has come 2 years late. Just let it all mean something and allow them to get a franchise QB.

The fact that I even had the thought, "Well, we had Vinny...," is a testament to just how gawd-awful this "talent" operation has been.

Well, at least all those teams (Saints, Colts, Packers, and Steelers) all need to win to make the playoffs. So should get good efforts and full rosters.

Raiders and playing a screwed up Broncoa team, and have been playing pretty well. So who knows?

Patriots will also try to win (as will the Skins). But Jets on the road isn’t the same as Cowboys.

We will see.

For anyone rooting for the tank here's the best explanation I've seen as for who needs to do what to secure the #2.

The simplest way I’ve seen it explained is this: we are rooting for these teams to win, and think of each star as worth 1 point.

The Commies need 3 points from these games, whereas the Pats need 4.

NO and NE should win their games. I don't see NE coming out flat for BB's swan song and NO should be the better team in this situation at home.

I'm more concerned about the Cowboys phoning it in.

I don’t see it, cowboys need to win in order to lock up the division/#2 seed and a home playoff game. You know they desperately want a home game where they’re undefeated. They’re no strangers to choking but at least they’re not playing for nothing, all the starters should be out there.

Just another solid that philly did for us by losing to AZ

I mean, you'd hope so. But weirder things have happened. If they start getting nervous about injuries they might start benching guys. Depends on how risk averse they are wrt being in the playoffs and healthy vs trying to win the division.

I have great confidence that Sam can throw 2 pick-sixes to Bland in the first half, and that being all DAL needs to sew it up. Throw in a Parsons sack-fumble or two for icing on the vomit-cake that was the 2023 season, and it's a wrap.

This is a time when JH actually should step in against RR. Meddle, if you will. He wants that #2 pick. Sounds suspiciously like what happened last week
