I don't look ahead at the Devils schedule but are there any games against low tier teams to bring him up and get a look at him?
I doubt they will pull Nemec from a playoff race in Utica to get minimal minutes in the NHL with the Devils having a fully healthy defense corp. Plus by the time the Devils clinch everything Luke Hughes might be here to take that role.

Absent an injury it's hard to see NJ sitting any of Sevs, Dr. Evil, or Dan Marino to play Nemec just to play him.

Last 2 games of the season for example they could sit Hamilton.... and give him a game or two, depends if they would have something to play for or not. They surely won't play Hughes and Hischier in Washington in the last game if they're set in 1st or 2nd place, maybe Hughes if he chases 100 points for example.

New edition of Simon's column here: Stĺpček Šimona Nemca: V AHL skórujem ľahšie ako v extralige

Brief summary:
- starts off by describing his 3 latest goals
- says he is more satisfied than ever in terms of the current season, he is playing PP and PK and only one other D-man is getting as much ice time as him
- he tries to shoot more often and cites Karlsson as his role model for this
- he is happy that the team is doing well and is in a playoff spot
- he feels he got better since the start of the season. First on defense and then came the offense
