New Goal Song Suggestions Thread

I'm going to go in a different direction than I usually go for this. The Maple Leafs were a regiment in WWI and had the 48th Highlanders Regiment playing the bagpipes at every home game. 48th Highlanders of Canada - Wikipedia

Scotland the Brave - The Drums & Pipes - would honour it's history and those that served. On the flip side of the coin, it would piss off any opposing team that had to hear this anytime the leafs scored.

I have longed for this day. I'm not a religious man but I'm not gonna lie, I've prayed for it.

Now that day has arrived. Prayers have been answered.

The biggest problem with this team is the goal song. Hearing it 8 times in one game has really underscored and magnified the enormity of it.

Thank you hockey gods this Christmas (and Hannukah). Thank you. Sorry I didn't get you anything.

They don't have a goal song, do they? Seemed like incessant music.

Leafs do have a dj play at times for the younger crowd.

Although we had that song 2002ish to 2010, it has been ruined in every possible way imaginable for me now because of the Bruins. It's their song now.

I vaguely remember us having Jock Jams before that though. That would be a sick song to have although the Sharks currently use it

So will the next one to another portion of the fan base.

The things people complain about. I'm usually happy when they score and am watching the replay of the goal rather than listening to what song is being played.

It's a good goal song but not the best

The worst one we've ever had however was the Lil Jon one in 2013-2014. Just the worst.
 
I agted the goal song at first, now.i genuinely enjoy it.

It works best during multigoal games.where it must be absolutely horrible to hear again and again if you're the opposition.

and regardless of the fact that it doesn't matter. music tastes are in the eye of the beholder. a lot of these choices people are making - to quote you, "sucks." it's just heavy metal noise or something something similar.

the puck goes into the net. if they didn't play anything it wouldn't even matter because the main thing is that they scored a goal not played a damned song.

if you guys want to hear something else, just fire up Siri or Alexa or something and have something play for you if it bothers you that badly.

It's gotta match the electricity in the air. Nothings worse than scoring a goal of the year and having a song that resembles the Caddyshack "I'm alright" song start blaring..again and again.

Zombie Nation needs to come back.

If you needed a different song to get excited yesterday, it probably has more to do with you then the song.
They had two goal of the years yesterday, place was insane, it didn't matter what song was being played.

I didn't need any songs to get me going yesterday..That's not the point. The song is sh*t and ruins the mood and atmosphere for many. Time for a change.
