Nah what we have now is perfect and we should keep it forever. Why change perfection? :sarcasm:
 
I don't mind the song. Anything else would just be similar to whatever others teams use. I don't even notice most goals songs because they're all the same. Everyone notices the Leafs song and sure as hell pisses opposing fan bases off. Perfect.

What a load of sh*t - it’s a brilliant song.

place was f***ing pumped - what on earth are you referring to.
 
Supper's Ready by Genesis.
It's a whole album side and it starts out slow but it really kicks in around 16:00 and then the ending is amazing.
 
I actually don't mind our goal song.

Don't get me wrong. It sucks but hear me out.

Look how much it annoys us.

Imagine being a fan of the away team and you have to hear this annoying song when the Leafs score. It will irritate the hell out of you. Like damn these clowns scored and I have to listen to their stupid goal song again. It's the ultimate troll
 
I would have tolerated the current goal song if we had a better goal horn. But, our horn sucks, which makes the song even worse.

We need something loud and majestic for our goal horn. Dallas (bad song), Colorado, LA, NYR (should be louder), NYI (Nassau, not Barcalays), Vegas, and Montreal (French song was better) have great horns

Was thing of Enter the Haggis - Lancaster Gate. Might have heard it from Goon. Not sure if it’s a goal song
 
I was in line at the food court in a mall this afternoon, avoiding actually shopping when someone's phone went off with the song as the ringtone. "Goal" was yelled, people sang along, "go leafs go chant" started. Like it or lump it, this song is weaving into the fabric and won't be easily replaced

Awesome, one of the great albums of the 20th century :)
And they were in their early 20s when they made it, some people just have all this crazy talent. Not me unfortunately.

I’m a huge fan of theirs from “ From Genesis to Revelation “ 1969 of tracks from 67 onward until Collins took over the total reigns lol possibly till Abacab 81 ( and even that album I’m not to keen on . Certainly nothing after that though ...

Same here, I have zero interest in anything after Lamb (except Seconds Out is a great live album). But some people love their later stuff, to each their own.
I'd play the keyboard solo in Colony of Slippermen as a goal song, it's probably good I'm not in charge.

There is a lot wrong with having an 80’s pop song as a goal song for a professional hockey team. Hockey is a physical and intimidating sport, and they have freaking Hall and Oates playing to pump the team and fans up after goals. I have no idea what he organization is thinking. I thought Righteous Smoke was a great goal song...not sure why they scrapped it.
