No idea but they can definitely make a trade anytime over the phone lol.

That can also be addressed with the cap space in my proposal. We also need a stud on Defense and our D pool is very thin outside of Niemela. To do that, we need to trade one of our stud wingers.

I think Detroit could be a good partner there. Or Colorado for Byram like I've suggested in the past.

He's a couple years away from being that defensemen though, we need guys that will help us compete now

The deadline that Friedman is talking about is for players to file.

If the player doesn't file, then the club has 24 hours after that deadline to file.

Been a fan since the 80’s. Seen some high and a lot of low points. After awhile you kind of develop a sense of what’s going to work and what’s not going to work.

Rolling it back with this core YET again is just insane. We know it doesn’t work. It’s been proven time and time again.

If I could just turn off the part of brain that has this need to remain faithful, I would. It doesn’t work that way.

I’m allowed to not be happy with the direction of the is team.

I wanted Dubas gone for awhile now, got my wish, only to realize now that perhaps he wasn’t the problem, maybe, just maybe it’s been Shanahan this whole time.

Treliving should have came in and cleaned house. Keefe should be gone. One or two of the core players should be gone (at least one).

I’m hoping…Nylander is dealt for some decent assets (see Dubois trade). I also hope Treliving can in fact rebuild the backend. Heck I’d even try to get a new starting goaltender. I don’t think Samsonov is the answer (seemed shaky all to often).

Why does he have to cheer for other teams. He gets to be a leafs fan and part of being that fan is voicing his opinion

The core hasn't come through yet they want the money like they have won multiple Stanly cups. The poster isn't exactly out of line

The problem with the logic of "we haven't won, let's trade Nylander" is he's the member of the core that has played the best in the playoffs relative to expectations

I’m not sure what Tarasenko wants or expects. He’s in that upper-mid tier of player like Bertuzzi where he’s good enough to be a solid contributor in a contender’s top 6, but not good enough to commit a large sum with term in a still flat cap world.
