I find it amazing teams don't wanna qualify players because of their arbitration cases, but want to re-sign the players.... for cheaper.

Why in the hell would the players want to go back? Some players may not have much of a choice, but someone like Fischer will have plenty of choices for example.

McLeod I would have no issue throwing anywhere between 2-3.5M at depending on the term, could be a long term 3C option

Bastian could be a younger Acciari

Geekie a big centre

I'm not a fan of giving 5+M of cap space to 2 players that can't score more than 11 goals combined.

I'm not a fan of McLeod if he's making more than 2M.

Okay, 2 years around 1.5-2M for McLeod, Bastian, 1-2 years around 1M?

Yep, both physical. McLeod is good defensively, right shot centre whos good on the draw. Bastian is surprisingly skilled for a guy who's a borderline heavyweight.

Holl coming back would be brutal. There's only so much a fan can tolerate before giving up. :amazed:

Surely the Leafs didn't qualify every one of our RFAs?

Maybe Treliving doesn't realize that it isn't rare that Toronto Maple Leafs UFAs would like to stay with the club.

Definitely a lot more appropriate. I do think Bastian is better than his numbers suggest. He's pretty solid all around, could in line for a break out season.

The Maple Leafs have extended qualifying offers to goaltender Ilya Samsonov and forwards Nick Abruzzese and Semyon Der-Arguchintsev. The club did not extend qualifying offers to defencemen Mac Hollowell, Filip Král and Victor Mete.
