Idk, I find that hard to believe after what they just traded Johansen for. Someone said he had a NMC but he doesn't until this season coming up so whenever NMC kick in is when he'll have it which I think is July 1st. Atm he has no protection from a trade or control so it's a weird move to just buyout a player a majority of teams would take at 50% retained.

Gives us a top pair RHD long term and a 3c who still has potential to play top 6 after Tavares moves on.

Well maybe this time. I know you have wanted him back for a while.
His play has dropped off a bit but by all reports he has been a great mentor for the Marlies prospects.


A couple guys with size who aren’t afraid to push back when games get rough. We definitely don’t have enough of that and it’s something you can’t teach.
They both have some warts but maybe our system could hide some of them.

Anything to get daddy back in LA.

It's absolutely brutal. Such a dumb decision. Most users only read Twitter posts and don't give a toss about exposing themselves to that vipers den.
