Nick Bjugstad could be an intriguing option for the bottom six if he's cheap enough. Definitely brings some size and can play centre if need be

It’s pretty obvious he’s going to get hurt in training camp, probably banking on LTIR him

Could be, though I'd imagine they'd want to spend his caphit during free agency

I think he's wanting 1.5-2M

Potential teams willing to trade for and extend Nylander at a number he likes: Seattle and Nashville

Potential trades involving a William Nylander S&T

Seattle: Bjorkstrand + Oleksiak + Kartye + 24' 1st

Nashville: Matthew Wood + Yaroslav Askarov
You think Nashville is going to pay Nylander more than Forsberg?

Bailey isn’t someone this team needs. He’s not the top six winger he used to be earlier on in his career and his game isn’t really suited for the bottom six especially when we already have Jarnkrok, Kampf and Lafferty there.

We need to add speed with size and physicality. Wood is one name that comes to mind for the fourth line. We need to find another player who can then play with Kampf and Jarnkrok. Comtois wouldn’t be a bad option but ideally someone who’s less of a question mark.

_______ - Kampf - Jarnkrok
Wood - Holmberg - Lafferty

This team needs as many league min players as it possibly can find.

Bailey at a league min contract gives us options and flexibility and the ability to allocate more money on filling a priority.

He’s a year removed from being an above .5 ppg player. You take that at 900k all day, if it doesnt work out its easy to bury/move.

Signing Bailey will only help fill out depth and acquire more expensive talent. It will only help our flexibility, not hinder.

im gearing up for a Nylander - Schieffele swap or something like that tbh

Do you honestly think Nylander a year away from free agency is going to re-sign long-term in Winnipeg when he has no reason to have any loyalty to them, and they're a team that looks to be on a downward spiral with half their core wanting out?

Winnipeg doesn't make the trade unless Nylander re-signs.

Both are pending UFAs. Winnipeg is shopping Schiefele and apparently not getting many calls.

It would be nice to get a young center as the main piece in a Nylander trade. Play in the 3C spot then move up into the 2C spot perhaps in a few years when JT's deal is up
