So among all the players who want(ed) out, Jets are shunned by Trotz and possible #2 choice Montgomery. Yikes.

Also, Frank S reports Jets will not trade Scheif. So theres that. Probably why Wheeler and PLD are at the forefront. Thats the shake up.

Its entirely possible the locker room split is not Scheif's issue but Wheeler etc. Who knows. I would sure like to think the Jets, if they had to pick a side, would not pick the side of the wrong party who wants out. But you never know.

I suggested this a while back. Trotz said he's out, but if it's only for 1 year, why not have an "interim" until you can hire him. It's not like we are going to win the Stanley Cup because of our coaching hire.

If you have a dysfunctional dressing room , and you end up being the only player moved out of it.... odds are good that you were the problem. Or one would hope.... we will see..

Tocchet has already failed thrice. I'd rather go with completely unproven then hope 4th times the charm.

Maybe the Jet’s introduce their new Head Coach at the draft. It would be a interesting way of doing it. Chevy could walk up to the podium and say “ I would like our new head coach “insert name here” to announce our pick first pick for this years draft”

screw trotz....his heart was never into it and he ultimately wasted the jets time...that ship has sailed...no way the jets should wait around another year for him....right now the only coaches available that could be considered a great pickup are montgomery and maybe brunette. Brunette won a presidents trophy, got Florida out of the first round which hasnt happened since 1996 and then got out goalied by tampa. Everyone else that is being mentioned is a coaching scrub
